Stayed for 3 nights to attend the Christmas markets and see a few museums. Was easy to walk to these. Room was quite large for European standards. Breakfast was varied and quite filling. Will stay again when the need arises.

This hotel is located in a sketchy area, with an "adult entertainment club" across the street. I was very closely approached by one man for money and another man followed me into the hotel after obnoxiously whistling behind me. My towel was placed back on the rack after I had used it. This was really gross. Perhaps the most unprofessional thing was when the staff did NOT honour my request for a wake-up call TWICE. One day they phoned over 40 minutes later and on the day of my departure I could have missed my train since they NEVER CALLED. The woman with the blond hair never apologised about these errors and needs to work on her customer service skills. The young man with Syrian heritage was kind and professional. He is the only reason why I am not giving this hotel the lowest rating.

Very nice place to stay both for business and private visit. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get: stylish art deco hotel with gorgeous lobby (plus the bar and leisure lounge) and neat and comfortable rooms. Great staff makes the visit even more enjoyable.

Nice staff but room was cold, no minibar, very old bathroom. Free Snackbar in the evening was ok and for travellers who are looking for a fast and easy way to spend the night, this is absolutely ok.... Reservations was a mess as they thought i should pay at check out but the stay was paid in advance.... it took some time before they realized i was right. Parking is in a payment area, even if you use one the few spaces the hotel has.... But in general you will not suffer from staying here....

My train to berlin was cancelled and I needed a bed so I booked tryp at kassel.i had a nice greeting and a quick and easy check in.i had a beer and something to eat at the buffet which was very nice.my room was spacious,clean and comfy.the WiFi wasn't the best but overall stay was very pleasant. thank you

They serve us a simple supper, buffet at their restaurant for free. WiFi connection is poor a little.

The room was small, dark, with a strong musty smell. It is really a single-bed room, where they convert the sitting thing into a second bed. The hotel belongs to a different time period, and unless you find it quaint, you will find it depressing.

I found a room available at the Wyndham when other lodgings fell through, and the night manager was kind enough to arrange for the second night as well. Overall, the service was genuinely friendly. The rooms were maybe more shabby than chic, and the room I was in faced the outdoor area of a bar, so somewhat noisy, but the art deco ground floor is a real jewel.

Location is not wonderful but convenient for the main Station. Lift was not working, but this could happen to anyone. The room was very large and light and although not the newest it was clean. The breakfast buffet is overpriced but ample.
