Great hotel and great view!!! Easy walk to the pier to see the lights. Love that the floor doesn’t have carpet, so we didn’t feel bad about sand. The breakfast was so so… Not much for a Celiac/gluten free. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but was clean.

It was really nice to be so close to the beach. The floor had a few cracks in it and there were a few things that were missed in cleaning (dusty vents, stained walls, behind furniture was very dusty, hair on walls in bathroom). The beds were very comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and they offered a free complimentary breakfast in the mornings. The hotel room was clean, organized and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to the beach so you can hear the waves at night. As there are pros, there are cons. The TV remote did not work, we reached out to maintenance and they were quick to switch it but the second one stopped working too after a few minutes. The walls are SUPER thin. You can hear every movement and conversation of neighbors and people outdoors. With our room being on the second floor, it was difficult trying not to make too much noise with the creaky floor. Overall, it was a nice and convenient experience.

Perfect staycation. Steps from the beach. The sounds of the waves drowned out everything else and made it such a pleasant stay.

Basic pretty bare bones hotel. It’s in a great location and very pet friendly. Great staff and clean rooms. Good prices and minimal breakfast options. We will stay again.

Check in was very easy and I even got a call when we didn’t arrive by mid evening. It was nice being able to check in remotely (precheck) -much faster once at the property. There was a snaffu and I had the cleaning staff try to barge in the next morning - somehow we were marked for a check-out after 1 night, even if the reservation was for 2 nights. Got it fixed satisfactorily at the front desk.

Went on a father son trip after my parents bailed last minute. The location is amazing literally right next to the beach! This served to be an amazing back drop scenery to the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was a bit outdated but very comfortable. Spacious parking. Thank you for the coffee and delicious bagels/cream cheese. Staff was very courteous and the check in/out process was extremely smooth.

They checked on us via text the next day which was a pleasant surprise. It was quiet(which is rare). The view from our room and the pool was breathtaking. The only changes i would like to see if i were to return is, a keurig or at least offer of one, and the floor in our room was black - like it hadnt been mopped in weeks!! That, of course, made me worry about how disonfected the rest of the room was. But i always bring my own lysol ! Other than that no complaints and I really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff.

The rooms were just okay. Location was great. Room locks only have chains. Housekeeper tried to come in even though I told her not to because we had a full hour before checkout. These rooms need deadbolts that actually work.

Amazing place next to beach, food & night activity. The staff was super nice, they even got some super clue for me to fix my phonecover. Area seemed safe and was quite. Shame we only booked one night at Pismo beach, should have stayed there another night, but we have scheduled road trip so..

The Edgewater is a clean an f friendly hotel. Thr beds were comfortable and the rooms have everything that you need. We only stayed 2 days, wish it was longer.

With new beds this hotel would be a superior hotel - five star plus - just a stones throw from the beach
