Have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Check in was easy and they even upgraded my room since they had availability. The beach near by is absolutely amazing and one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen.
Rooms are huge and shower pressure is great.

This place is excellent for a mid range hotel. It’s not 5 star but it doesn’t try to be. Very clean, nice rooms. Very quiet and restful as adults only. Great staff. Breakfast is great. Dining options are limited but the buffet is reasonably priced and good food. Great pool and 20 mins walk to the beach. Don’t try and rent a sun lounger from the PineCliffs hotel as they will charge you 250 euros. Walk further down the beach and you will get one for 14 unit need to get there before 11.

The front desk staff were very rude and not accomodating. Do not go to this resort unless you are 55 looking for complete silence during your stay. We were 6 couples who came to this adults only hotel looking to relax and unwind. They silenced us when we got together and did not allow us to play any music (during the day). They were nasty and rude. No one else complained except the staff. The music was not loud and was far away from others. The hotel is very pretty, clean, and the housekeeping staff as well as the dining room staff were great. It is unfortunate that the fromt desk staff and management are complete a******* Especially the guy with the ponytail. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a good time with their friends. It is for the elderly looking for complete silence in the pool area, lobby, and in their own rooms. If you want that type of vacation, this hotel is for you. If you prefer to be able to converse with friends in the lobby, enjoy music by the pool, or in your room while getting ready, do not come here. You will get shushed all day, every day like you are a child.

NO FUN ALLOWED! SILENCE! RETIREES ONLY!
The room was very hot. It took about 36 hours for the minibar to cool the drinks we had. Despite AC being on for 4 days, it never dropped below 22.5 degrees C! On day 2, we tried going to the beach, which was beautiful, but a full 20 minute walk, including many stairs. The beach does not have beds for the hotel and you have to walk even further for public ones. They are 20 euro per couple, and we could not find enough available ones for our group, because most are reserved by the other hotels. There are shuttles that do not run on Sundays or Mondays and stop running at 2:30PM, so getting there is more trouble than it's worth. THIS IS NOT A BEACH RESORT. The worst part of the stay is their silly rules! We booked adults-only to have fun, which we did in our previous two destinations in Portugal. All 6 couples were constantly shushed here, when getting together in the lobby! The next day, we got together in our room before going out and I put music on in my room on my 3 inch portable speaker. Five minutes later, a front desk employee knocked on the door and angrily told us we have to turn it off! Most of the guests are quite old, and though we were prepared for adults, we were not prepared for the amount of retirees. No guests complained about our group. It was the hotel management with their smug grins and arrogant behavior that kept us from having a good time for no apparent reason. Toilet broke on day 4 - took hours to fix! STAY AWAY!

Can’t complain about our stay. Staff were polite and attentive, room was always cleaned to a high standard and the food was great!

Stayed in a junior suite in July 24 on a half board basis room was excellent and clean. The food was varied and of a good standard and we always found something to our taste
We found all the hotel staff, we came into contact with were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful
Hotel communal areas and and pool were well maintained and very clean
There was night time entertainment on in the form of local singers who were okay by hotel standards
There are a couple of bars / restaurants / supermarkets nearby but other than that not a great deal although you could walk to the nearby fishing village which is approx 30 mins away where there was a bit more choice
We had one problem with our bill where something had been added in error, however when I noticed it and brought it to there attention it was quickly resolved
Only suggestion would be more parasols around the pool and in the garden area so people can get some shade if they want to get out of the sun
Overall enjoyed it and would return

Would stay here again! Staff were all great, nice clean rooms and the grounds and pool were beautiful. Plus walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the beach!

This was our second time he and it didn't disappoint. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is one of the best selections I've had. Looking forward to coming again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to ask for a pool view room! For the price it’s a great deal and has everything you need. 15 mins walk to the beach isn’t bad. It’s such a lovely beach nearby! If you’re looking for a lavish stay then look next door at pine cliffs resort for 3x the price.

We had a room at the front of the hotel next to a house with an extremely noisy large dog left outside barking all the time, especially at night also howling as well . After complaining the next day we got changed to another room 4 days later which was quieter. Hotel drinks are fairly expensive and food is the normal buffet selection. Sun loungers are snapped up quickly around the pool early at breakfast time. Would not return here due to the noise.

I booked a tour through the hotel, in which they organized for a shuttle to come pick me up. I was in lobby well ahead of time (40 mins before scheduled time), only to find out 15 minutes before my tour that the van broke down. When I asked the staff to help me out, they got me a taxi that cost me almost $40 CDN as opposed to the van. (had I known with notice that the van was down I would have called myself an uber which was $10 CDN. I paid a premium for a service issue that was all on the hotel/tour side when I shouldn't have. When mentioned to the staff he shrugged and said "that's what it cost to get you there quickly" (again not my fault there was delay)

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Brilliant staff, perfect pool, beautiful rooms and unbelievable food. A holiday I will never forget. I will be back for sure!
