Cannot fault this hotel, a gem in the heart of Lille. Cosy, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Long hair receptionist who checked me in was the nastiest receptionist i have ever dealt with. She definitely is not the right person for the hospitality industry as she showed her unprofessionalism and a bad attitude. I offered to provide the details to the hotel manager but never heard back in the automatic survey letter sent by the hotel.
All in all the hotel is a next step up from a hostel. I never stay at a budget places like this one but this was a perfect example why bad hotel accommodation can spoil your experience of visiting different places.
This is the worst spent money on the accommodation that can only be compared with an upmarket hostel. Everything about this place is budget, at first sight it will look presentable but during your stay you'll notice how poorly the cleaning services are executes. Please see the photos attached. The worst part was the breakfast yoghurt, served in the reusable jar. The jar lid was filthy, looks like it wasn't washed since the hotel opened. Big health hazard, please see the photo. The bathroom was not clean, no hot water... The list goes on. I would not recommend this place. It's right opposite the main railway station. The street noise will keep you awake all night. The breakfast is probably on the level of a soup kitchen. I have nothing positive to say about the place, especially the staff.

The Rosa Hotel is beautifully decorated and conveniently located near to both of Lille's train stations and to the city centre. The superior room was warm, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge area is a bonus. I'd happily stay here again.

Very convenient location opposite Lille Flanders station. Our room was at the back of the building and there were no issues with street noise.
The rooms are small - as many have stated but something to flag to anyone who is a larger individual - in our room, the toilet seat is fairly squashed between the vanity and the wall. We were fine but I think if you were bigger you would 100% struggle.
The other thing that I found was rather lacking - we asked for the room to be made up on one occasion, mainly because there was no toilet roll - like none at all. We left for a long day excursion and returned later to find the room had been made up but no toilet roll. It was late and concierge had left so we had to buy our own which felt really silly. It’s a very very very basic thing for room service to fix.
On that note about concierge - you don’t get a physical key. It’s not done through an app but a webpage. You’re given a QR code and expected to screen grab it or print it before you arrive. My phone almost died and the whole day I was worried about not being able to get back into my room if I returned after 9pm when concierge had left. Again, not necessarily dealbreakers but kind of wished I had know this before.

Our room was very small which might be a negative for some people but as long as you don't feel the need for acres of wasted space then you'll love everything else about this place. Excellent location, value, quality of amenities and service. If there was one everywhere I wanted to go I'd always stay here.

I picked this hotel as a last-minute decision to go to Lille. I was a little bit apprehensive as they weren’t a lot of reviews, but I’ve since found out it’s only been operating for two months . It was an easy walk, even with my suitcase from the train station. The QR code entry system is a little bit quirky for me, but it worked fine. The room was amazing. The bathroom is quite small for me as i’m a bigger framed person, but the shower is very spacious. The Room also had plenty of space and I didn’t feel claustrophobic, especially with the high ceilings. I only booked for two nights but decided to extend my stay and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was enough to start the day before exploring the town. I would 100% stay here again. Friendly (English Speaking) staff and everything i needed to be close to start exploring.

Wow! Beautiful place! Breakfast was amazing for the 6€ price so many options. The hotel is right in the middle of the center and next to two train stations and shopping mall. The shampoos were from L’Occitane, which was a nice touch. The hotel just had a beautiful aesthetic to it. It was all pink and really well done would highly recommend and stay again

We were in Lille for the Olympics. The location of the hotel was perfect. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Nice lounge area which offers a good breakfast and pastries/fruit during the day.

Its a boutique horel so some rooms like single are smallish. But others are larger. Hotel judy opene24 June 2024. But all is new and comfortable. Super close transport, train bus, easy walk to shops and restaurants. This is a real gem. Great staff.

Good location across the road from the station however no air conditioning required the window to be left open all night with a lot of noise. Bathroom very small, virtually unusable. Staff ok but not great.

The toilette was little litte little room that was separate from the bathroom, so, when you go to the toillette you cannot wash your hands, you have to go to the bathroom which is another room to do it. Nor the bathroom or the toilettes has windows or ventilation, which is insanitary. The parking lot is confuse to find, it is about 5 blocks from the hotel and it is not exactly a property of the hotel, they rent it for the costumer, and they asign you an area on the seventh floor and the worst "IT HAS NO ELEVATOR"

Do not even bother looking at the pictures, they are fake!!!!...Well firstly the lady at reception was extremely rude (the evening shift), one od the "services" at the hotel is multilingual staff; I arrived and said hello, to which this lady ignored and just said."name?" ...she then proceeded to say everything in French, in what i assume an attempt to confuse people into saying oui,oui. Thankfully I do speak French And knew she was trying to upsell breakfast, an extra key and late check out. Oh by the way, yeah you get one key and have to leave it at reception ever y time you go out! The room had an awful smell, maybe feet smell? The bathroom had to be scarcely used as it continuously smeltof rotten eggs! There were yellow stains on the ceiling! The wifi did NOT work. We at some point went to reception to ask for more toilet paper as the housekeeper did not provide us with more....the receptionist then said that they don't give any more until you finish the previous roll completly. What?! ....erm yeah so over all, never, ever again!

Basic hotel, with basic amenties. Only for overnight stay. Bathroom is really small and door does not close well. Breakfast is basic, no hot food. Location is good, as its close to most sights.

Very happy with this hotel. It is right in front of a major train station. An ideal location if you want to explore city and near about areas. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money. We just wanted a cheap and clean hotel in walking distance of eurostar and old town centre - and we would stay here again. Great breakfast
