The pool and hot tub were super dirty and smelled funny. There were bugs in one of our rooms (we had 2). The milk and yogurt were expired and sour. The coffee machine badly needs cleaning and the coffee was awful. other than that it was fine.

I have never been so grateful for being kicked out of a hotel. First of all this might be the first hotel we have been to that has interrogated my husband with a million questions before check in. I made the reservation minutes before and i was in a rush only selected 2 adults got charged ectra for myself and mom. But since we had two kids on the way up to the room we got kicked out because we didnt mention our kids. Which is fine the place smelled old and moldy for some reason and the room looked very trashy... and to top it off there were roaches on the elevator. Next door the Home 2 took us in and what a difference. The smell look the room, gorgoeus i recommend just driving the extra 10 seconds to go to that hotel instead.

When I got to the front desk no one was there. I heard her laughing on the phone in the back office. I kept saying hello, hello and finally she came.
My friend and I went down to the pool. The pool water was green and the hot tub had dirt all around tub. Not only it was dirty but a squirrel was trying to escape.
We went back to the front desk and again she wasn’t there so I had to call her name. I told her there was a squirrel in the pool area and she laughed and walked with us back to the pool. By the time we got back the squirrel figured out to get out through a sliding door. She said they couldn’t close the door because it gets really humid and chorine due to the hot tub.

It was very good for the price range.
It did the task. A roof over our heads and a no e AC. The breakfast area was also good. No complaints if yoy are hungry and like breakfast.

Pool was yellow, cockroaches in breakfast area and at checkin desk, empty soap dispenser which we requested to be refilled twice but it never was, beds were hard and uncomfortable. Staff was very nice however, and room was clean.

the first room had a completely nonfunctioning toilet. Moved us to the room across the hall. The door to that room would not close properly in order to lock the door. the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom light was weird. Breakfast was very marginal.

Stayed for one night before cruise, check-in and staff was pleasant. Then I entered my room, and the review went down from there. Hotel RUNS HOT, it was hot in the lobby but chopped it up it being Houston, but once in my room I could hardly get room to cool down. Felt like over 80 degrees all night even with ac under 65. Hotel needs to invest heavily into AC units. That’ll probably help with the smell coming from them too. Glad I travel with air fresher. Don’t plan on staying anytime soon, hope they invest into this hotel. I like the La Quinta brand and this was the first huge let down.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Everyone was overwhelming kind and helpful. This hotel is in need of upkeep and maintenance. Every surface was filthy. Bathroom grout was molded and peeling on tub. Coffee machine didn’t work but staff got one out of storage immediately. Tv didn’t work upon entering room but staff came in immediately to fix it. AC ran the entire night even after adjusting it. We travel often, I have 3 children from 12-6. I was concerned about their overall wellbeing due to the surfaces in that room. We almost went to another hotel but wanted something NASA/space themed. Every linen was stained, every fabric surface was ick. Again, staff made this trip wonderful but sad day about this La Quinta.

Great place - clean comfortable - pet friendly. To no fault of management - there were beer bottles and trash on the street side of property left by what I suspect passerbys that needed to be picked up. Otherwise the facilities were perfect.

There was a miscommunication amongst staff members about time frames for pool hours, and breakfast hours. would not recommend this hotel at the price we had to pay.
