The hotel is worn, in need of renovation... Spa facilities were above average (sauna, stam room, hot tubs, winning pool), but again worn. Gym. WiFi is good. Breakfast finishes at 10. Service is decent. Limited selection on menu and at bar ... Special things like baby Guinness are not possible. Area is lovely but remote... Exeter is 30 mins and taxis are sparse.

Had an interior room which was dated , had to have blinds down at all times due to coridor in hotel that was overlooking room. Did use sauna and steam room which were fine ,changing room itself small and was very hot and humid .

I arrived late to a very chirpy chap at reception which was lovely. Directed to my room which was a lovely size with all creature comforts. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also a pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality. Checking out was easy. I would definately stay here again

Super room overlooking the golf course. Evening meal was excellent. Made good use of the lovely swimming pool etc. Staff all very friendly.

It was lovely and the staff were really decent, our bed was a bit savage as it was 2 singles clipped together and it kept separating and was really uncomfortable, my partner had a bad lower back from it on the Sunday. Other than that, really nice, spa was awesome and room dead clean and good food too.

Staff were great and the room was a fantastic size. Really enjoyed our stay. It would be good to have a window for fresh air. The fan was appreciated but it’s not quite the same.
There was a little water that came from under the bath after a shower but rooms were extremely clean.

The layout of the tables for a party of 6 was poor - why use round tables rather than push 2 rectangle ones together

Room claustrophobic due to lack of window. Room nice and big though. Food in the “cafe” disappointing and not value for money. Linen napkin coved in white particles which covered my cloths. The layout of the tables for a party of 6 was poor - why use round tables rather than push 2 rectangle ones together

Place itself was nice. Room was clean with a nice view of the golf course from the balcony in my room.
Good cleaning products to use in the shower with added dressing gowns to use if you wish.
Down side was when we booked for evening meal. We noticed even though our order had been taken other guests were getting their food first. In the end took over an hour and we ended up getting the main course before the starters. Way too late for me to eat in the end but we had to make do. The manager on shift was very nice to us though.
Breakfast was very nice so overall I would recommend anyone to stay there if you are that way.
