Room was nice and clean
Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows were also comfortable and clean
Only issue we had was the room was controlled by central cooling and heating. We stayed in November and with the heat on, it made the room very uncomfortable. After we contacted the host we were informed to open the windows and use the fans to try to make it more comfortable.

This is a few rooms with no front desk or staff on site. You get the code and let yourself in. There’s a little shared keurig downstairs. Room was clean and cute. Can walk to everything in town. Only complaint was that the heat is controlled centrally and for me it was too hot for sleeping. Was tossing and turning.

Neat, old building in a great location which made it easy to walk everywhere. Management was great to work with via text. My room was tidy, comfortable, and the layout was perfect for just me. It might be tight for 2 people, though. (I was in room 5.) The shower drain was clogged so I showered in standing water. It mostly emptied by morning. That's irritating to me but in this case, it didn't spoil my experience because I loved everything else.

The Hotel was easy to find, codes were provided shortly before check-in. Accessing the Hotel and room was quite easy.
The room was equipped was basic needs. The only downsize for me was on cleanliness. We found hair, possibly pet hair throughout the restroom floor, comforter and carpet. Which was uncomfortable for me, as Im allergic.

Just wanted to say that The Block was an amazing place to stay. It was so cozy and quaint. It was the perfect location as we could walk to most anywhere. It was super clean. The housekeeping was great. And the manager of the place, Jennifer, could not have been more perfect. I could not say one bad thing about this place. We will definitely stay here again.

Its a boutique hotel without immediate on property staff, so all communication was done on the phone and online. Communication was relatively prompt, but not immediate. That being said, self check-in was easy. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the pillows perfect! There was no view, but we weren't there to spend time in the room. We would definitely stay there again.

It also has a free parking lot across the street. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and the bedding was super comfortable. But by changing the table lamps on the nightstands to wall mounted lamps and putting a cabinet sink in the bathroom instead of a pedestal sink would help maximize space. Definitely would stay at the Block Hotel again.

This is my second time staying at the block. Room #5 first time, #4 this time. The bed was very uncomfortable, I did not sleep well. The samsung wall air conditioner does not put out any air although it does make considerable noise in the attempt.

A rather unusual check in process there is no clerk on duty. They send you a text with a lobby door code and your room number and door code. They have wifi and TV

Everything about the stay was simple and clean! The only issues was during our sleep it got really hot but it may just have been the comforter. Otherwise there was no real issues! I will recommend this property for others and will be returning!

I live in another country. When I arrived at the property, the door was locked, and there was no way to get inside.. after waiting for a few minutes somebody doing some work on their property. Let me in and contacted the lady on duty who was excellent. She explained to me that I should’ve received a code to get into the building and a code to get into my room, I was never explained that and I never received an email. I think this is a problem due to Expedia lack of information, not necessarily the property.
