Disgusting. The smoke alarm in my room beeped non stop. Walked around to get assistance - no one around the whole place locked up. Rang number - goes to message bank. Ended up having to sleep in my car. Emailed to complain and ask for a refund which was ignored. The place itself was filthy and stank. Very unclean - the shared kitchen was absolute filth with food dried up on the floor. The only time you would appreciate this place would be when the only alternative was sleeping in a gutter. Avoid avoid

Staff were very friendly and gave assistance without being asked. Be aware their is no air conditioning in rooms. Restaurant seemed popular, but I visited friends. Needs better signage re name Backpackers. And street Number 12-16 Good value for rates charged.

Very basic accommodation - poor condition of room and carpet and blinds, not to mention very noisy.

We booked this Accommodation even after reading all the terrible reviews. Don't be fooled, it really is as bad as the reviews make it out to be. We booked a 3-night stay as we wanted to save some money on adventures. We don't mind budget accommodation. But it was very dirty. We saw a cleaner come in every morning, but I'm not sure what she was doing. The bathrooms were disgusting, I showered without touching anything. The bedroom was awful, with holes in the carpet, dusty, and had not seen a vacuum in a very long time. There was a sink in the corner of our room that had not even been wiped out. I had to wipe all the sides before we could unpack anything. We didn't use the communal kitchen- not even for water from the tap. The bedding and towels were clean which is the only reason we managed to stay, otherwise, we would have slept in the car. There is no aircon and the fan sounds like a helicopter is about to take off. The only saving grace is that the staff was lovely and the restaurant food was amazing.

The accommodation boasted stained everything, cockroach covered floors and a fridge that required a bio hazard suit to go anywhere near it. The environment felt unsafe and gave somewhat a feel of a horror movie. Budget and basic is fine but the sanitary conditions were far from acceptable.

Room did not have any fans, balcony door doesn’t stay opened. Blinds broken. In shared bathroom there was Water on the floor all the time. Tap was running all the time and wasting water. Some Camping shared bathroom event better than the facility in this accommodation.

The staff & meals were great . The room had no tv the dust on cabinet was a inch thick bed was great blinds didn't work

No frills hotel with cheap accommodation. The room was comfortable with access to a common balcony. The kitchen area was very limiting. The food at the restaurant was good. Ok for a quick cheap stay.

For what it was, (budget), it was ok. The web site image and description needs to be updated. The facilities were old and not well maintained, but clean and tidy.

Room was expected for budget accom. However the guest next to us continually left the door open so he could go in and out all night and kept letting the door slam against the object propped to keep open which kept waking us.

Cockroach in the room, somebody trying to break into our room in the middle of the night (lock your windows if you can), The management offered our money back without asking but unfortunately were not reachable in the middle of the night when the incident happened....will think twice about going for the cheaper option next time.

Room was nothing fancy, but had a bed, tv, and a sink. Sink hadn't been used in awhile as when we turned it on rusty water came out of the pipes. Did notice a cockroach downstairs when we checked in, but our room was clean. We were to check in after hour and a key was supposed to be left out for us to get in. The key was not left, but upon calling the owner came to let us in (2am after a delayed flight) which was very nice of him.
