Couldnt check in, no office to enter, everything was behind a locked gate. Took another guest asking me if i needed help.
Toilet didnt flush, tried to fix it, took lid off tank and the flush valve was held together with a safety pin.
But they do have good views, and other guests were friendly. Saw sunrise and sunset from the hotel. Not much dining nearby. AC was coooold when i arrived.

Its safe and the beach is just acros the street. The hotel is old but clean. I do recomend a stay if you are looking for a cheap nice hotel to stay.

We really love the hotel the beach to the left is Isla Verde to the right is Carolina beach you choose the beaches are across the street. 10 minutes walk ro restaurants. Staff the are nice and polite.

Quaint and cozy. I love the communal areas, view and Flora. Staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Bed a little hard and squeaky but for one night it was fine. Continental breakfast was fresh. Coco the dog was so sweet and friendly. I would definitely stay again!

We had a quick overnight stay and OMG from the moment I picked the phone Jaseline was just a pleasure (my daughter ask me after I finish talking to her do you know that lady) that is how friendly and kind she is. The hotel has the most sunrise and sunset love the feel good of this hotel.

The service was unprofessional from check-in, and brief stay fell far below expected hospitality standards. The lack of ID verification at check-in raised serious security concerns.
The cleanliness was unacceptable, with ants present. The bathroom was outdated and there was a lack of basic amenities and mismatched towels. no staff members were available during check-out and had to leave the key with a janitorial worker. The lack of staff presence was unprofessional and concerning. Overall, the experience was substandard due to unprofessional service.

They had no ice machine or soda and snack machine. It was walkable but had to go at least 8 to 10 blocks far. Had no permanent parking spot. But I did like that it had a homey feel and was right on the beach.

The property is close to 2 beaches and in walking distance to restaurants, stores and casino. The staff were super friendly! Only bad thing i can say is that the shower didn't get hot.

Alberto and his staff were so nice! Coco is a sweetheart too! Alberto was there to check us in and gave a us a tour of the property! Clean rooms I had a beautiful view of one of the beaches. The hotel is uniquely placed and very close to restaurants and shopping. The beach’s are less than a 3 min walk. I will be staying here again when I return!

La Playita is a small property that is still being renovated with attention to local arts and common areas. Rooms are comfortable and roomy with excellent service. The location to the beaches couldn’t be better. The owner and staff are personable and efficient. We will be back.
