I was in town for business and working late hours. My room was on the first floor close to the lobby. Every morning I was awakened by the lobby music playing. Really could have used that sleep since I was working 18 hour days. Room and hotel was nice. Next time I’ll ask for a room away from the lobby!

Liked the location and that there were games in the lounge area.
I felt the breakfast was terrible. the bagel was small, not fresh and tasteless. Better to not serve breakfast or just have cereal.

The staff at Aloft are amazing! Thanks to the receptionist and to Carlos the bartender for being so friendly. We were stuck near Dulles for the night after our car broke down and they made an emergency stop feel like a vacation. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is legitimately dog-friendly and kid-friendly.

Their shuttle service is bad. They only come every hour unlike other hotels who were between every 15-30 minutes. My family had to wait an hour since we missed the last shuttle due to bad instructions from the hotel. We missed our planned activities that day. We were not happy.

The first problem was I booked a room with a single King Bed and was given a room with two Queen Beds. There was no remote control for the TV in the room. There was nothing near the phone to indicate how to call the front desk. I had to go to the lobby to address my concerns where I was told all the King Bed rooms had been booked. I was given a remote for the TV. All in all this is a nice hotel but I believe they could correct a few things.

Stayed 1 night here, hotel had a nice vibe, however, we had a lot of issues. Check in was fine, but 1 of 2 elevators was broken. We went out and returned late, and our key didn’t work. Went downstairs, and the front desk did not know why and it took several minutes to get a working key. At this point I was exhausted and just wanted to get in my room. At 9:11a housekeeping tried several times to open my door without knocking, while we were sleeping. Luckily I used the security latch on the door. Horrible experience .

We had a great room and the staff were very accommodating. The only reason we didn't rate it with 5 stars is because the HVAC system was very noisy as well as the refrigerator. We fixed the fridge noise by unplugging it.

My 7 yr old daughter loved the room. The art work on the wall in the bathroom was a unique and creative touch. The staff was very pleasant and may I add very beautiful. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
