Second time staying here, with great service and impeccably clean rooms. Bohemian jungle vibes but not overbearing, and it is a comfortable stay overall. Really nice rooftop bar definitely helps.

Loved our time here, staff were super efficient and friendly, food was pretty good, breakfast was good, the room was cool, very comfortable bed, big thick towels and the shower was awesome, good water pressure and hot water, no issues with water pressure like some hotels. The cafes and restaurants in the hotel were good, nice areas to chill if you have to kill some time. Rooftop cafe and pool was really good too, hot pool was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was good, breakfast was very enjoyable. The only set back is the dressing mirror area in the room was really dark and missing lights and it was impossible to see properly for removal and putting on of make up.

The room was magnificent. The views are breath taking. The entire property was so beautiful and the room service food was delicious every time!

Truly a beautiful place with excellent service, gorgeous decor and very good food and drinks. One of the hosts, Sahara, went out of her way to give recommendations and provide outstanding service. Staying at this hotel was an amazing choice and we recommend it highly!

We stayed for 3 nights after our trip to Bangkok and Singapore (we stayed at MBS), and we think our stay at Orient was excellent. The service was outstanding. The place is mind-blowing. We went to the Library lounge 2 nights in a row to get pre-dinner drinks and were pleased with the quality of the drink and service. Our daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool at the 5th floor. I've been telling my local Indonesian friends to check this hotel out - for staycation or even just to hang out at the bar/ pool bar.

However, while we like the design of the Hotel, the pools and the rooms very much, we once again experienced a lack in service: It still takes a long time to get warm dishes for breakfast and the service for lunch is also a bit slow. Seems that the kitchen is far away from restaurant, which is not helpful in addition if you prefer hot meals. Most annoying: on Wednesday night we returned to the hotel at 23:00. The BAr and the restaurant have been closed. We had to order meals from the room service and it took us 45 min to get at least a glass of wine. There were several waitors available at this time, but the communication with room service and them was a mess apparently. My colleage and I felt quite embarrassed as we booked the hotel for our boss and two guests of the company. There is a new director in charge and we hope that the service and the processes will get improved soon.

Great hotel. Amazing decor and attention to detail. Great styling with a modern touch. The room was fantastic, and the view of Jakarta was amazing. The breakfast was refreshingly good for Jakarta and the staff were courteous throughout.
