The front deck gal destiny was nice and very helpful . Room was very nice . Breakfast was ok , the room wear we stayed was a little noisy as major hwy runs right next to it but all was a good stay

Nice room, Queen bed a bit small for us but comfortable room. All you need to relax. Included breakfast was a bonus. Area was good and ok mid town. 10 minutes by car to everywhere. Staff efficient and friendly.

2 night stay with friends travelling from Fairbanks. Fairly close to airport so not expensive taxi. Continental breakfast included was very good. Walking distance to bus stop into downtown. Nearby eateries were very good and walking distance. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower good.

The hotel itself was fine, clean, everything worked. We walked to a nearby restaurant but the area around the hotel is in bad shape, no sidewalks, lots of nearby construction and some questionable characters hanging around. During check-in, some guy was yelling in the parking lot that someone was following him, he then came into the hotel lobby spouting the same nonsense. Very agitated, and high on something. Not the hotel's fault but it made it feel a little unsafe.

Check in was at 3. We got there just before 3 and were told the rooms were not clean yet and that we had to wait. We finally asked 45 minutes later if a room was clean yet, and they said they were not yet. At 4p they got us into a room but it was not the one requested or promised.

We went back and this time after giving us another room she said I am not going to do this all night since it was getting late. The breakfast bar is never restocked no matter how many times you ask for replenishing. The staff is not friendly.

We have always found Home2Suites to be a nice place to stay but we were disappointed with this one. The couch was torn and dirty. We placed towels over the cushions before sitting on it. Also the chair had stains on it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was okay. The best thing about the property was the friendly and efficient staff.
