Beautiful hotel in the historic part of Cartagena. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Best part of the hotel is the staff and the level of service, just incredible.

From the moment we arrived to our 6:30 am departure (with lovely bagged breakfasts in hand) we were treated like royalty. This hotel is as close to perfect as a hotel can be. Be sure to try their restaurant for lunch or dinner. They’ve crafted a fusion of local fare with Lebanese and the resulting dishes are amazing.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa Pestagua in Cartagena’s Walled City. It was a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Walled City, just one or two blocks away from all the major historic sites. On their street were also the best restaurants and nice shops. But most of all, the absolute best part about Casa Pestagua is her staff. I’m just 3 days off being there, we were greeting everyone by their first names because they likewise always greeted us by name and with full genuine smiles. Thank you Katherine, Nuris, Brando, Leo, David, Carlo, Caroll, Hernan and Diocelin. You made our short trip to Cartagena truly memorable. Hope to see you again soon, even if we forgot to “pat Hertrudes on the back” 😜

Truly amazing stay! The staff, food, rooms, beds, pool, and drinks exceeded expectations. Must stay if you want a relaxing and quaint experience, it almost felt like you didn’t want to leave the villa. Highly recommend!

I have no words to express my experience in this hotel. This is the best example what an excellent customer service is. I have been many times in Cartagena and never been to a place like this. Food, Location, Service, Everything was impecable. I would like to highlight the amazing team who took care of me, Katherine the team leader, as well as Caroline the host. Amanda the bartender, Leo the concierge, David the captain, and German. And my waitresses Diocelin, Ivón, and Yenifer. They will guarantee as well as the rest of the team to make your vacations the most beautiful experience ever.

Incredible hotel, booked literally last minute (10 minutes before arrival) after running from another catastrophic 4* hotel in Cartagena. They immediately put us at ease with welcome drinks, we settled into an excellent lunch and checked into our junior suite. Highly recommend room 204 as it has a view over the palm trees and pool. Such kind staff, Germain, Katherine, Yeily, David, Leo and Amanda treated us like royalty. The day trip to their private beach at Acasi is definitely worth it, especially in comparison to other day trip offers. The boat is super safe, clean, small amount of passengers, and the beach itself on Baru is wonderful. They even went above and beyond when I had severe food poisoning (to no fault of their own) and sent a doctor to our room within 45 minutes. Next time in Cartagena for us there’s no choice but Casa Pestagua.

On our second day, my very hard to please teenage daughter declared, “I give this hotel a 10 out of 10!” The rooms are simply elegant. The hotel is beautiful and charming. However, the true standout is the service. Someone contacted me prior to our arrival to check in on our possible needs and to see if they could be of help with transportation. When we arrived, Katherine and Brandon were OUTSTANDING. I really cannot emphasize that enough. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our rooms and that level of service continued through our trip. From the moment you enter this very special place, you are greeted with a warm smile and a helping hand. The pool in the courtyard was the perfect place to spend the afternoon after being out in the sun all day. They offered complimentary wine and snacks from 5-6 which was an unexpected treat. I am so glad my other plan didn’t work out!

A quick 3-day stay was not enough to fully enjoy Cartagena and especially the Suite Conde de Pestagua! The suite alone is glorious, and the private rooftop lounge and pool made it truly special. Everyone was exceedingly friendly and professional. Overall, a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return!

Exceptional hotel on all levels. Staff was wonderful. Very accommodating. The hotel is one the best in which we’ve stayed around the world. Truly lovely. The restaurant is also worth the visit alone! This is THE place to stay in el centro histórico!
