Beautiful small hotel just a block from the Paseo Montejo. If you have mobility issues, make sure you don’t get one of the rooms upstairs, since you’ll need to go up a flight of stairs (some w/out a handrail) and then down a flight of stairs. Fortunately, the hotel staff was very accommodating and were able to move me to another room.

The staff were outstanding. Service was excellent. I fell ill during my stay and the staff was very empathetic and assisted my wife in every way possible to keep us comfortable until I was able to travel and return home. Service above and beyond.

I enjoyed every moment in this hotel. The staff is amazing and solve any problem you might encounter in the next 5 minutes. They are friendly. The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. The jazz night was amazing.

We like the hotel location and the building in general. The rooms are very nice, clean and with amenities to drink and prepare coffee. Showers work perfectly. We didn’t like that the hotel has no parking, however we left our car on the street and nothing happened to our car.

Great service and location. Eduardo was our waiter on arrival for dinner. Outstanding service from him and the rest of the team. I will definitely stay here again.

After traveling in many parts of the world for over 35 years, this hotel is one of my top 2, is a hidden gem. The service is amazing and their small restaurant is fantastic. With only 8 rooms and different designs for their suites, 10-10 Collection is a perfect getaway for a couple. Congratulations!

I loved the design of the property, great design, very comfortable room, great staff, a must in Merida!

Lobby, restaurant, bar, and room were first rate. Staff was exceptional. HOWEVER, the constant driving base beat of the dance club music that was playing in all common areas was too much! It was so loud in our room that we could not sleep. When we complained to the staff, they simply responded that they were required to play it so because if was part of the hotel's "concept".

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled extensively. Lovely property located in a fantastic old house that is extremely well restored. Attentive, gentle staff, great food, and an excellent location. The Diez Diez makes the Merida experience a sublime one. Thanks!!!

This was a perfect place to stay. From the moment we walked in, we knew we made a great choice. The service and hospitality was exceptional! We can't wait to stay here next time we visit Merida.

Fantastic Service! Comfortable stay. Room was a little dark, the music from the public areas could have been a little lower, but these issues were small in comparison to the first rate service, excellent food, room comfort and completely enjoyable rooftop bar area. Wait staff, front desk and housekeeping are first rate. Free bike usage a real plus.

The staff were excellent, from restaurant to front desk to the wonderful ladies that kept my room so perfect. The room was beautiful, could use a little more light. I used the bar upstairs, maybe my not knowing but I ate in the dark using my phone light to see. I used the small dipping pool, I only wished, the couch on the pool side was moved to the bar side and a couple of lounge chairs so I could lay out better than just a chair. I also and again not any expectations, a bench somewhere along the outside of the property so I didn't have to sit on the curb to smoke. I totally understand most people don't smoke, but Europeans are more prone and just for future consideration.
