Comfortable rooms. Quiet and private. Helpful staff. Only one small issue…. No accessible mirror for make up application… lovely pub and food availibility. Lovely breakfast menu.

The staff are very nice and it’s a clean place to stay. The BIG issue is our room was extremely warm on a day that hit at most 24 Celsius. We had to take turns sleeping in the car as our baby couldn’t stand it, and nor could we. A small table fan was provided, which wasn’t nearly enough. Ideally the room would have a window fan to get cool evening air in so people can sleep. AC may be needed as English summers keep getting warmer, but maybe that isn’t possible in this building…

Wonderful stay at Devonshire Arms as we traveled through the UK. This was our favorite hotel during our trip and our favorite meal. The room was cute and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to visit again.

Excellent from check in to check out, service was exceptional. Outstanding evening meal and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order, stunning location.
Room was small but very well appointed with all the little extras that make a stay special.

I would absolutely come back to the Devonshire Arms. The room was cozy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the overall feel was just wonderful. My sister and I were able to walk over to the Chatsworth House and take a bus into Bakewell for some shopping. I'll be recommending the Devonshire Arms to anyone and everyone. Thank you for a wonderful time!

I would absolutely come back to the Devonshire Arms. The room was cozy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the overall feel was just wonderful. A wonderful weekend away, a charming country pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service at is first class, he staff are friendly and attentive, and always happy to help.

The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley was a delightful place to stay. The room was spacious, warm and well equipped. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cleanliness excellent and food delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly go again.

Absolutely wonderful. Comfortable accommodation and pub, which offerred a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. The food was very good, and the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Social distancing was present in the bar and dining room, with hand gel available both by the pub door and before you enter the bar area.
All tables were throughly cleaned, both inside and in the beer garden, when ever tables were vacated.
Scenery around the Inn and accommodation was stunning.

Quintessential Inn, beautiful scenery overlooking the Peak National district. Quiet, safe, staff very engaging. Dinner reservations suggested. Limited menu but food was good & unique.
