The first two nights went well - we were in the room we had booked, an air conditioned room with two beds. However, the third night we were moved to a larger 2 bedroom unit, where the second room had a broken air conditioner. I was told we were moved since we were a last-minute booking (on Expedia). I was also told he had called a repair person who would fix the air conditioner. So, I extended our stay by two extra days only to discover that the air conditioner would not be fixed during our stay. I wasn't able to sleep much or comfortably due to the miserably hot conditions and my daughter and I fought over the air conditioned room, a sad ending for our vacation. This hotel was the most expensive one and greatest disappointment of our trip. His original discount on the second room was worthless as it was too hot to sleep. When I tried to negotiate a discount at the end for the untenable conditions, he had me pay a portion in euros so the upshot was about four dollars a day discount for the last two days - not nearly enough compensation for the awful ending to our long-awaited (over 20 years) Greek island vacation. I only gave it two stars because the location was great and a second older gentleman staff member was kind, but he wasn't in charge of our payments.

Everything was wonderful. Thanasis was so helpful and kind. We did not want to leave! The room was clean, AC was ice cold, fresh towels and room cleaning every day, great breakfast exceptional location. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Dimitri is a super host. His property is very clean, his staff and family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh beach towels everyday. The location is a short 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach and numerous fantastic restaurants.

This is our second time in Dimitra hotel and it was just as expected. Amazing friendly service in a clean setting. The decor may seem a bit dated but everything is so clean and the location is right off the best beach.

Great stay at Dimitra Hotel. It is so convenient for the beach and the abundance of bars and restaurants in the village. The staff (especially the sons of the owners) we’re extremely helpful in recommending day trips to us. The pool area was good too. Overall we had a fabulous stay

The Hotel Dimitra staff were so warm and welcoming. When my partner and I arrived after a long day of traveling, we were immediately greeted by them. They sat down with us to personally tell us about all the best things to do on Naxos. We were surprised that our hotel felt like a welcoming and safe home for the several days we staid, and it is entirely due to the friendliness of the people. We would highly recommend Hotel Dimitra.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Greece. It’s a family owned hotel and the hosts are so hospitable. They are very knowledgeable about Naxos and had the answers to all my questions. The check in process was absolutely seamless. I felt so relaxed there. The room was so tidy and comfortable. The pool was so refreshing. Everything about the property is perfect. It’s less than a five minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. This was one of my favorite hotels of all time - absolutely perfect.

You can not get any better for the price , the beach at St . Prokopios is one of the best in the island , the hotel breakfast is plentiful , family is trying really hard to please the quest, great place overall!

The location was perfect. Literally a 3 minute walk to the most beautiful water. Many cute restaurants and mini markets. Plus the bus picks up right there and you can go to Naxos town (or anywhere). The room and pool were clean and Spiros was very helpful and charming. Want to come back next year!

The rooms are very clean, the pool is super nice and the wifi was fast. The location is also perfect - tucked away off the main strip in Prokopios but still a very short walk to the beach. We will definitely be returning to Dimitra!

Fantastic place to stay on Naxos!
Agios Prokopios has a bit more of a 'small beach town' feel than busier Naxos City but still has all you need and Hotel Dimitra was great for us.
Clean, comfortable rooms; a great pool; yummy breakfasts and 2 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. To top it off the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Can't wait until we get to go again!

Hotel Dimitra is amazing...... The owners, rooms and staff are all fabulous. This is an amazing boutique hotel which is also a two minute walk to the beach and all of the restaurants! I would not stay anywhere else.
If you do travel to Naxos, piece of advice..... Do not have anything mailed bc I had an issue with a box which was such a nightmare.
