Great location for nice area, with easy bus access to Valetta and also up the coast.
Friendly welcome and easy transfer from airport booked with host.
Apartment clean and comfortable.
Equiped with washing machine, hairdryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, hob & wifi.
Instructions on how to work the TV channels would be useful.
Expedia need to make 'late arrival' fee more clear, or include this in the package price.
A few minor maintenance issues -
though this did not spoil our enjoyment of being there.

The apartment is in a very good position, located in a quiet street just a short walk from Spinola Bay in St.Julian's. The premises were very clean and appeared to be almost new. The mattress was very comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked with pans and cooking utensils and the wi-fi was fast.
There were a couple of downsides. The main one being that there was no window to look out of in the living room. The natural light in the room came via the glazed front door. For someone standing on the outside of the ground-floor apartment, it looked as though the door led into an office or a block of apartments, so that when you were inside you had to keep the door locked otherwise - as we found out on several occasions - strangers opened the door not realising it led directly into a private apartment.
The other issue is that the guy who owns the apartment rents it out through an agency. On two occasions we needed to contact the agency; on the first occasion, they were very quick to respond but on the second occasion, we had no response despite sending two emails and calling their phone number four or five times. It made us wonder what would have happened if we had needed to urgently call them due to a water leak or another emergency.
