The property has been completely updated. The room was great, comfortable and clean. The outside retains the vintage vibe that drew us here in the first place. The guy at the desk was friendly and was very interested in what we thought about the property.

Newer property. Very well taken care of. Everything is very clean from the room to the entire property. The owner and his family were all very nice and always making sure everything was good. We would definitely stay here again!

Second time staying here. We had an event locally that started before check-in time, so we asked to park our car since we were taking Uber. Turns out our room was ready so they let us check in early and keep our stuff safely in the room. They were wonderful! Super clean room again, quiet location, great price. Definitely our go-to in that area to stay!

I chose this motel because of a previous Travelocity review. And they were spot on. It is a small motel that may not look AMAZING from the outside but everything is brand new inside. I have never seen such clean bathrooms at a motel/hotel. The decor is a bit old looking in the room but who cares! It’s spotless. The staff is so friendly. I would highly recommend this motel.

This has to be the nicest affordable motel I've stayed in. The space was immaculate, everything was new (I learned from elsewhere that this motel had been hit by the tornado back in 2021), and it was very quiet. The only thing about the room is the bed was quite hard, but not unbearable. Check-in was quickish, although a little odd. Normally staff fills out any papers besides signatures or makes a copy of ID but instead I was given a slip with the same information requests listed multiple times and not instructed how much actually needed filled out. It seemed redundant but I also didn't want to leave anything blank so I felt silly either way. Aside from that insignificant notation, this will definitely be my first choice for a stay if we return to Bowling Green again in the future.

I needed a place to stay near my mom's house while my brother and I worked to repair her water. I reserved with Cardinal Motel. I arrived Wednesday night for a late check-in. The person who came out to help me was unfriendly, and when I tried to ask about internet she pointed to the door and told me "You can go now" three times in a row, so I left instead of pushing harder. Probably should have. I was told that this was the hotel where parolees were first released for a place to stay. The room was clean as was the outside, but there were a lot of full rooms with no cars. My brother arrived to help me, and I did not know that he and his girlfriend were traveling together. They arrived Thursday morning, with her registered service dog. I did not know about the dog coming, so apparently I was put in a Non-pet room, and even though the site says pet friendly, I was charged for the service dog. The dog just came into the room during the visit on Thursday, but did not stay overnight. Although I didn't like how it was handled, I'm not going to challenge the $75 fee, but I do want to warn those with service animals that you will pay a fee regardless . I thought that is not legal, but I am not certain. Here is where it got strange. I was told that they have video proof of the animal in my room. Does that mean there are cameras in the rooms?

Such a great little find! Adorable little motel. On the small side but not uncomfortably so and expected in a traditional motel. beautifully new and well maintained. Clearly a family business and staff was so friendly, helpful and kind. Super convenient to campus, food and shopping. Amazing value for the price!

Recently totally remodeled, clean, relatively quiet location. Love being able to park right outside of the room. Inexpensive.

What a stellar motel! I can’t give this place a higher rating. I stopped here for an overnight stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. I only stayed long enough to shower and sleep, and it was kind of a bummer because this is the kind of place you WANT to stay a little longer! My hotel room was recently renovated, very clean, and very modern. If you look at the pictures of the King rooms in the review photos you’ll see a beautifully furnished, contemporary room. That’s exactly what you get, but it’s just so much cuter in person! I was so pleased with my stay. The shower was brand new, large, and SO clean. The bed was very comfortable. Everything about this motel exceeded my expectations. If I’m ever driving through this part of the country again I will stay here with absolutely no hesitation! I might even go an hour out of my way, honestly. What a breath of fresh air on cross country road trip! Thank you Cardinal Motel!

The outside of the motel has been completely updated, as well as the lobby. Our room (103) was 100 percent remodeled. I assume the others were done also. It was so nice to be in a newly done room!

This is my second stay here, and will probably stay again. Early, convenient check in with a friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are well lit and a good shower head. Fridge, microwave and a blow dryer come in handy of course.

Everything in the room looked brand new. It was incredibly clean, and the staff was very friendly.
