Amazing service and had everything you could possibly think of for a stay in a hotel with a young child. They also had a welcome bag for our son with toys and a hat which he absolutely loved. Bed was super comfy and big. Breakfast was nice and we also used the room service on our last day and the food was excellent. Sometimes when you stay in a hotel room with your child it can feel a little stressful but this was all set up so perfectly it made it really fun for all of us.

We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. The people were lovely, the complimentary drink voucher on arrival was a very nice touch and we would definitely go back. It's clearly a very family friendly hotel and we felt very at ease there with our son (12) and daughter (9).

The items in the room are safe for kids, there is a highchair, toys, kid safe utensils, a kids playroom downstairs, and everyone is helpful and understanding of families. The service was amazing, and the young man at the front desk was super helpful. The bar seemed to cater to non-hotel guests but we didnt spend time there other than to get our free drink. The negative to the hotel which was pretty big for us was the noise. We could hear people upstairs, outside in the hall and outside. We did not sleep the whole night Friday due to people partying and screaming in the streets. The sirens (there were many) were manageable as compared to the music and yelling all night from the street. Our 22 month old did not sleep all night and it ruined our flight home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Martinhal Lisbon Chiado. Our room was spacious and allowed plenty of space for our family of 4 to get over our jet-lag. We had a separate bedroom, alcove with a twin bunk bed off the hallway and a living room with kitchen. The staff went above and beyond and also provided different activities for our children for about 30-60 minute increments as needed. We did notice that the smell of cleaning supplies in one of the hallways was quite strong but it wasn’t an issue within the rooms themselves. We would absolutely stay here again with young children and loved the offering this hotel provided. The location is also tough to beat and make sure to enjoy the Landeau chocolate cake next door!

We had a wonderful five day stay. The staff was fantastic. Daily breakfast was very good. Our suite was a good size, clean and had everything we needed. Daily housekeeping exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient. I highly recommend.

The perfect place to stay in Lisbon, chiado with kids. My son is almost 2 years old and he loved the playground at the hotel. Also we loved the room and all the amenities provided. They even left us milk, juices and fruits at our room. Also you can find bottle warmer and all the amenities for kids and babies. We requested babysitting services and I can recommend it without a doubt. Marta was the babysitter for our son for two nights and she was excellent. She took great care of our son, she played with him and feed him. The staff is so helpful and they provided excellent customer service. I wish there was a martinhal in every country :) .
