Staff was friendly when we arrived. Pool was crowded with kids running all over, guests smoking on the “no smoking” property in the pool area and in front of their rooms. Room was decent but smelled like an old, musty thrift shop. Didn’t realize the floor was gross until I walked in the room barefoot for a while. Sorry to say but nowhere near what it could have been for the cost.

In the middle of the boardwalk, close to Everything, queen beds and had a private eating area in front of the room….air conditioning was very loud tho but that would drown out my snoring…

It is a good propert, everything was clean and and the maintenance people where so nice and humble I love the stay the pool was also one of my favorite place.

We had a great time! My only complaints would be the shower pressure and running toliet, but those were minor issues.

Amazing hotel

Room was ok. Beds were a bit lumpy. Bathroom is TINY. Shower curtain had a funk to it and found out later in trip it’s probably because bathroom never dries no matter how long fan is on. My biggest issue is there was no where to hang wet items in room. Room came with 5 shirt hangers in a “family size” room which I found odd. Other than the 5 hangers there we no options for wet bathing suits etc. If you plan to grill plan on being there awhile. While I did not use grill, my room overlooked the area and one night it took a woman 45 minutes to cook a couple cheeseburgers. All 3 grills seemed to not get very hot as they may have a regulator as at one point a staff member came over and told a couple to not look at thermometer. Poor couple was there for at least two hours to cook their food. Also, there is a lack of rule enforcement. Multiple mornings where little kids were in pool alone with no adult in sight and multiple nights of a large family gathering taking place late at night in a common area. Someone was left to park their pickup truck in 2 spots blocking an entrance all week. They take license plate info and truck could have easily been made to correct taking up multiple spots.

The service was great staff was very friendly, the kids loved the pool ! My only complaint was the bathroom had a rundown looking toilet and sink the fridge and closet bar was all rusty . And when we arrived the floors you could feel were really dirty and sandy we had to used Lysol and paper towels and clean the whole floor the best we could our feet were black within minutes of walking in , and there was hair on the walls in the shower so that wasn’t cleaned or rinsed before we arrived . The next day there were crumbs and stuff on the table and visibly on the floor ( we had no broom to sweep ourselves) and after housekeeping did their rounds the crumbs were still all on the table and the floor . Clearly the only thing they do is make the beds and replaced the towels and garbages but not wipe anything down or clean the floors . By the 3rd day we were there we just told them to leave us towels and we’d take care of the rest cause the floors still haven’t been swept or mopped so we figured we could just put the towels in and empty the trash ourselves . Other than that it was good .

Pool was well kept, rooms were clean note that bathrooms are retro and small but thats Wildwood with the older motels/hotels. Great location to beach & boardwalk. Some good restaurants and bars are very close to the hotel. Parking spots can be tight, only one space per room.
