What an amazing little hotel! This is a great place for first time visitors to Chiang Mai. Great location near plenty of shops. Food is great and room and service is even better.
Will definitely be staying again in the future!

Makkachiva was exactly what I wanted. Hotel was in the heart of the Old City but quiet and peaceful. Staff were lovely. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location was fantastic, right down the street from the Sunday Night Market. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get around by tuk tuks.

Makkachiva was exactly what I wanted. Hotel was in the heart of the Old City but quiet and peaceful. Staff were lovely. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location was fantastic, right down the street from the Sunday Night Market. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get around by tuk tuks.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Old city with very friendly staff. We checked in easily and were shown to our room. The hotel has a no-shoe policy so you remove your shoes in the lobby and they provide you with slip-ons to wear around the hotel.
I loved how relaxing it is and the fact that it's located across the street from a temple adds to the ambience. The hotel is an art hotel and features beautiful artwork throughout as well as lanna reliefs in each room.
It is conveniently located with shopping spots within walking distance and is down the block from the Sunday Night Market. You could easily use Grab or a tuk-tuk to visit the Night Market, which is also close by.
One of the best aspects of this hotel is the breakfast! The menu is robust and delicious, and the serving is very generous and filling.
I definitely recommend giving this hotel a try if you're spending time in Chiang Mai!

Great hotel. Pictures are a little better than it is. The location is great, the room is small, and the amenities just average. Shoes have to come off and average Thai-size slippers are available. The real deal is the breakfast. It is per menu but with menu choices and great quality. Would stay again.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai, best location near temples and main attractions. Staff super friendly and eager to help, really good cook to order breakfast. Definitely will come back and recommend.

A beautiful hotel with a nice and cozy design. The room is super clean and smells good. The staffs were helpful and friendly. Good location and the breakfast was delicious too. Good value and highly recommended.

I love this hotel, it is well maintained and it's beautiful. The breakfast was really good. The staff were great, they were very friendly, helpful and very nice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
