I was moved to two different hotels- with smaller rooms, never stayed at this hotel and was charged twice. The hotel i was put in was so small i could barely fit my suitcase with me inside of it. Horrible experience and stay and management acts like moving me twice was not a big deal- as well as charging me twice.

This is my second time staying here. I have two, completely insignificant complaints: there’s no water past 10pm. I’ve always been able to get it from the bar, but it would be awesome to have it readily available after a long day! Also, the lobby is significantly perfumed. I understand, you want people to come off the stinky streets of NY to a fresh smell, but it’s so, so strong.

Pros: extremely clean facility. Two queen beds were very comfortable. Nice blackout curtains and windows screened out all street noise. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Housekeeping was great at not disturbing our belongings and tidied everything daily. Hotel is nicely decorated and has a big open lobby and free happy hour. Cons: like many NY hotels, the rooms are TINY. This room didn’t have any drawers, only a chiffarobe with a lower shoe area and hanging storage. We stacked things up and made it work but would have been nicer to have more space to unpack a little. Not even room to lay two suitcases out (one suitcase was huge, though). Also the free breakfast isnt super delish. But it’s free! The paper plates were not very appealing. But you could grab some cereal or a bagel on your way out. There are only two elevators that go to the upper floors and there was a lot of waiting around. Overall great experience and would recommend this place to others, particularly bc of its proximity to Penn station.

The hotel itself and the staff were great. I just got put in a bad room. The bathroom door was broken and it was located by storage closet that was accessed all day and night , making a lot of noise.

Great location, view, service and staff.

Our stay at this property was fantastic! The front desk staff were super friendly and professional. I think the hotel has a great amount of amenities to offer from laundry to breakfast and suitcase storage options during your stay. The area is extremely convenient to walk TS, food options and it is next to Penn Station allowing you to ride pretty much all the subways available. The rooms are small when compared to hotels in other states. While this is not ideal, one must understand that NYC is limited in space. I will be back to this hotel for sure.

Hotel is excellent for walking conditions in time square….make sure you check out kevin at the bar he is excellent drinks on point !!!!

The good: the room was extremely clean! Housekeeping did a wonderful job refreshing our room! A-1! The so-so: The breakfast was mediocre- at best- and had the same offerings. The only hot options were eggs, potatoes and sausage patties or links. The breakfast area was large and did a good job of the masses! Bonus points for having a small area outside to eat! The bad: The elevators. The lobby and breakfast area actually serves Fairfield Inn *and* their sister hotel Springfield Suites. But the elevators only serve their designated hotel - so two for each hotel. The elevators were always busy. But we made the best of it. It was never more than a 5 min wait and the crowds always observed the "first come, first served" mantra. (Yay humanity!) But at the time of our departure, the elevators went haywire. We waited about 15 minutes and nada. We texted our travel friends who were a few floors down to see if they had any issues and yep, same story. So, we walked 20 floors down with our luggage. As we went down the stairwell, we looked through the stairwell door. One floor had people lined up to the B stairwell door. Anywho, we made it down. Hot n sweaty and 40 minutes off our departure time. We checked out and told the attendant of our elevator adventure. Her only comment "we're having an engineer look at it." No apology. The attendant who checked our friends out told them they should stay at Springhill Suites next time because their elevators aren't as busy. Say what? LOL!

Reserved two rooms one for me and my daughter and the other for her two friends. The breakfast is OK with lots of options. Very crowded though. Great location. Around the hotel there were some people, but this is not that unusual for New York. Rooms were small, but not horribly small. didn’t get housekeeping every day.

I would stay here next time and strongly recommend my friends. Breakfast is very good. Staffs are well trained and courteous.

Great location in midtown Manhattan. Easy walkable access to most tourist sites. Close to a subway station. Staff was excellent. Breakfast buffet was decent, thought ususally crowded. Only complaint . . . the elevators are VERY slow.

Everything was excellent I only have two points: there could have been natural Joghurt and better eggs at the breakfast but the rest was good. Also why does everything have to be plastic that is not very ecological and feels cheap.
