My husband and I just stayed here for 10 nights. The property it’s well maintained and cleaned daily. Aircon is A ( we had to turn it off we got cold 😂) Our room was lovely although they are currently doing renovations and it can get a little noisy (can’t really complain it’s for the better) breakfast buffet was good. Staff are all lovely. Pool was clean, Over all we had a great experience staying here.

All the staff are happy, helpful and attentive. Grounds of hotel are beautiful and maintained to perfection. Has the traditional Balinese feel which is getting hard to find these days. Beach immediately across road and Beachwalk Shopping Centre next door. Pool is lovely and clean with a swim up bar. Hotel organised our airport transfers both ways and they were well priced. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. We upgraded to a Superior Deluxe room on the ground floor with a king bed. The mattresses need replacing as they were sagged so we had two dips in the bed. The balconies are perfect size for two however outdoor furniture would be better to have two separate chairs and a small table to sit coffee/drinks on. Wooden bench seat was uncomfortable . Decided to celebrate husbands birthday with four friends at restaurant with the IDR195k buffet. Staff were fabulous and band was great however food was not good at all so we were all disappointed. All in all Grand Istana Rama is a fantastic hotel and we will definitely return for another stay. Highly recommended.

Rooms are looking a little tired - place was under renovations with builders and sub contractors working late at night and if you didn't complain then they just kept on working. Around the pool area was very slippery and whilst we were there saw 3 people have nasty slips/falls. Staff were always very polite and nice.

The gardens and facilities were lovely. I highly recommend a garden courtyard room. Only qualm is that everything extra was at a cost, to bring a drink to the pool was a charge, and swim up bar was not a bar.

Directly across the road from Kuta Beach and a few minutes walk to Beachwalk shopping centre or Poppies II Lane for shopping. Nice big pool with a swim up bar too!

The hotel was ok the room was ok but could of been cleaned better in the bathroom the shower was blocked and flooded the floor we told the hotel but wasn’t fixed before we left it wasn’t a hotel I would go back to . The food wasn’t all that great on the all can eat bbq .

We really enjoyed our stay! The bed was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. Having parking for our hire car was a fantastic bonus as parking in Bali is tricky.
