Everything was great! All the rooms we visited had unique layouts but all were comfortable and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful little hotel in Little River, great views, clean room, excellent service.
Our only complaint is not the hotel’s fault as such. The wall between our room and the next room was paper thin, and the internal door that allowed access between the two rooms was a cheap pre-hung internal door (I.e. like you would find at a home goods center), with no insulation. As a result, we could hear our neighboring guests as if they were sitting next to us.
They would not shut up. First we got to listen to them “enjoying” each other’s company. Seems they like to use some interesting language, amongst a lot of grunting and groaning. Another couple then showed up and the four of them just had a grand ole time laughing and talking until about 1:00am or so. They settled down for a few hours, then started up again at about 4:30.
They weren’t screaming or partying as such, it’s just that the walls were so thin that it felt like they were right there. Made of a long night.

Amazing place to stay…So many positives: Clean, I mean really clean. No dust and dirt on the baseboards or on top of things. Quiet place, you can hear the ocean from your room. Amazing views. Parking is plentiful and right near your room. Nicely decorated and comfortable with nice bedding and towels. Microwave, small fridge, nicely sized closet.
The staff is very nice and accommodating. I extended a night and they made it easy. The housekeeping staff is quiet and not bumping into walls and talking loud outside your room…yeah…you know this happens in even the swankiest of places. They even offer a small breakfast.
I will recommend the Seafoam to anyone!!!

Our stay was great. We have been here many times. We love the views and the quiet and beautiful area. The town of Mendocino, beaches, hiking and parks are very close.

What an amazing property. Inside - the room was so well done - many upgrades, and the bed was over the top comfortable.
Staff was so helpful and kind. They had great recommendations and information about the area, and just lovely to be around.
The woods were lovely, easy parking, and beautiful views from the room and patio. So many little extras - it was great!

Very pleasant one-night stay. Staff was welcoming, room was clean, comfortable, quiet, with a view of the ocean from the balcony. Definitely will stay there again!

We had such a comfortable, and relaxing stay at the Seafoam Lodge in Mendocino. The property grounds were immaculate, with beautiful landscaping and a variety of plants that added to the serene atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with modern touches that made it feel like a perfect blend of style and comfort. One of the highlights was the view of the ocean from our balcony, which added an extra touch of tranquility to the experience. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Great location with a short drive to town.

Unless you find an Airbnb in the Mendocino area, most bed and breakfast spots are limited with this arrangement. However, we found Seafoam Lodge meeting our needs and providing a great weekend stay in Little River, a short drive to the town of Mendocino.

All rooms had a balcony. It had a huge grassy space to sit and relax and have a picnic. The area was quiet. Staff was friendly. Parking very easy. Room was clean and had comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was simple but we didn’t even expect any so we really appreciated that. Very reasonably priced compared to other options in the area.

Beautiful gardens, ocean view, clean and updated rooms, linens and beds incredible.
