It's a very old pub with a few rooms, I was on the top floor overlooking the castle which meant it was very quiet but up three flights of stairs!
They don't do any food but obviously Shrewsbury has a multitude of eateries. Only a short walk to the center of town and right next to the station. Staff were nice too.
Would I stay again? probably not but then there are literally hundreds of places I haven't tried yet!

Perfectly situated for Railway and right in centre of Shrewsbury. A clean comfortable room with everything we needed.

Useful email before arrival with details of where to park car. Wi-Fi code etc. Laid back check in, staff friendly. Room was at the very top. Lots of old narrow stairs. Room was big enough but en-suite quite small with awkward high step up to get into shower. Also a very musty smell in en suite.
Beds were very comfy noise from pub below negligible.
Overall an ok budget stay close to centre.

The vaults room where I’ve stayed before is functional everything works and the bed is comfy. It’s in the centre of town and there’s plenty of parking in Shrewsbury.

Unfortunately myself I couldn’t make the stay asicame down wif the lurgy but my friends said the it was ideal for a place to rest ur head in a great location x

The vaults is what it is, a charming older property, welcoming, friendly nice. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. Cannot hesitate to recommend, would not hesitate to stay again, especially for the views of the Castle itself

Getting to the room through the actual pub may bother some people but it's fine (if a little odd) with me. Very handy for the station and an excellent pizza takeaway opposite.
