It was okay to stay there.
Room size was okay and staff was nice.
There were several issues.
Tea bag was opened.
Bath amenities were half full and printing on a tube was pretty much gone.
I found a dead fly in my bed.
The neighbor was snoring loud and I could hear that all night.

Overall we had a positive experience staying here. The reason for not giving 5 stars was one of cleaning staff stole $100 from our room. We had momentarily left our room and did not think that in the short time we were downstairs, that cleaning services would be performed. We still had our personal belongings out and money was on the table. When we returned, we found that a $100 bill was missing. Management investigated their staff but found that no one supposedly had the money. Other than that experience, staff were friendly. Some spoke English which was positive as well, as my French is very basic and limited.

If you plan on staying in the hotel for more than a week not much to see inside the hotel to be entertained. But one major attractions is the view from the Restaurant at the 7th floor. The majority of the staff felt like family by the end of my stay.

So basically I'm very dissatisfied on the way the hotel dealt with the situation and didn't even bother to offer any service as a replacement of the missed breakfast.

Checked in and was told by the staff that they would uppgrade our room free of charge.
Room was nice and clean with a great view over Alger and the ocean.
They have a basic gym and a sauna.
The pool was strangely situated in the middle of the breakfast room.
I would highly recomend this hotel for other vistors in Alger.

The staff at the hotel are amazing. I was so grateful for their assistance on a daily basis. They have my recommendation for anyone going to Algiers. The hotel itself is also very new and the rooms are extremely nice. I loved the great water pressure for the shower.

I arrived at Novotel after having slept on the way at two hotels which aren't presented on Hotels.com. In cities of Draa Ben Khedda and Batna. Both of them were stinking and dirty and disgusting. Novotel made me come back to life. Thanks so much for the kind welcome and extraordinary effort to clean my ketchup dirted white t-shirt but thanks especially for not charging me anything for that dry cleaning since the dirt was impossible to clean. They could have asked me to pay for the cleaning they did regardless of it is washed away or not since they "did" something. But it did not happen and they gained a well satisfied loyal customer. Big thumbs up guys!!! :)

This review is for AZ Viuox Kouba Hotel, we moved to this hotel from AZ Kouba hotel. Extra Clean Rooms, Very courtious staff, excellent atmosphere. Strongly recommend this hotel.
