Stay was amazing. Room was very clean, stylish, and comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent hotel discovered by accident. Great price point. Luxe everything- upscale toiletries, cool sweatshirt bathrobes, Illy coffee, distilled water stations on every floor, impeccable service. Added a second night and hotel took care of everything seamlessly. Hotel room design thoughtful. Great bed and pillows. Can't recommend enough!! This is why chain hotels are a snooze and places like this are a delight.

Front desk wasn't friendly at all. Not welcoming. Room had a big leak from the shower above. The maintenance man was extremely apologetic but the front desk staff didn't apologize nor did they offer another room. Very disappointed in a hotel owned by such a prestigious college. I expected a warm friendly welcoming and to be accommodating. Upon checkout, Brian, was very rude and didn't even ask how our stay was nor THANK us!!!!!!

This little boutique hotel is stunning in every way. Tucked at the edge of Vassar College, it is beautifully integrated into the community and landscaping. Walkable restaurants are everywhere and the in-hotel Salt Line is an elegant bar and dining option.

Hotel was new, clean and in a convenient location. The included breakfast left much to be desired. For the price of the room per night we expected more than just pastries and coffee.

Brand new hotel, with a modern esthetic. Comfortable bed, walk-in shower. Quiet location. Very good food service on site, The Salt Line, but local eateries within walking distance. Some rattling AC that they say is getting some attention.

Place was excellent! Very clean, very accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty crazy! You don't get many places that have in-house, freshly baked pastries and fresh chia pudding every morning. I will be staying here again, for sure!

A gorgeous new hotel, adjacent to the Vassar College campus. The hotel design is minimalist and practical--good storage; mini fridge and coffee maker; comfortable seating; great shower! The Heartwood is professionally well-run, warm and welcoming. Will be out place to stay when we re-visit friends in the area. Top Notch!

Loved this hotel! The beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. Loved everything about it! Can’t wait to come back again and stay longer.

The property is new, beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was simple but really fresh and local. We will definitely put this one first on our list of hotel choices next time we are in town.

Outstanding place to stay. Everything is new and of high quality. I do have a complaint about noise level produced by the ventilation and cooling systems. Also, the included breakfast had too few options and those options were mostly sweets.

The design of this hotel is exceptional (I’m an architect), and obviously its proximity to Vassar is unparalleled. Highly recommended!

Its an excellent hotel. Very sheek and stylish. Its new so no maintenance is required. My only disappointment was the breakfast. It was pretty dismal compared to what other hotels nearby provide. They need to look into that. Other than that, I will give it 5/5 stars.
