I booked this room through this site - and was less than thrilled to check in and be charged an extra $58.75 ... for no reason. Not Hotels.com fault - but it did feel a bit like gouging - wasn't like I had a choice.
But, that said the room was beautifully clean and very comfortable.

Our room was very nice. Close to the ferry. Perfect for a couple travelling and needing to relax. Pool, added to the view. Love the Alex Whitcombe Driftwood Art. Fun experience thank you. Affordable too.

Lovely location i.e. view! Great mattress and linens. Nice and clean. Grounds a little tired; noisy fan throughout night; wish someone was monitoring parking lot by camera overnight. Will likely stay again; great value.

First time here. Had an excellent suite, with a great view of the cove. Hidden gem - the parking lot at the back is surrounded by stunning driftwood sculptures! Only real complaint is that there never seemed to be anyone in the office. You always had to phone and leave a message.

On Saturday evening, we saw two cruise ships heading south to Vancouver with their arrival scheduled for 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. This is our third time that we've stayed here. A slight downside - no air conditioning - but a fan was available.

We had a view of the ferry loading, and the islands beyond. Stunning sunsets, and always something interesting going on outside the big window.
Bed was comfortable, the shower was wonderful, loved the little Keurig coffeemaker.

Check in was super easy. The grounds are amazing filled with drift wood sculptures and the staff are nicely and so helpful.

We came in late and left early so we didn’t have any contact with the staff but the room was clean, well appointed and the bed was comfy.. but the cable didn’t work on the tv. It was a smart tv so we watched YouTube instead, no big deal. All in all a great place.

Superb place - my children think it should be called the Royal Hotel as it is fit for royalty. We were surprised how great the renovated rooms were - one of the best hotels we have stayed in for years.

Right from the start, great help from the woman who called to confirm, as i was delayed. Only problem, I saw one sign with the name, another with the former name, took a while to figure out where to go with little signage. Room and pool were awesome, will come back. Thanks!

The hotel is on a small island and we were off season but we had to wait for the host to show up to let us in and the room hadn’t had heat on for a while we expected as it was cold and never really warmed up.
