Outdated and really old rooms. Worst RIU Experience ever

Staff and resort were amazing! 10 out of 10 experience

1st off my family got a shittt room to start off. The Air conditioning didnt work. The ceiling fan was super noisy. The sink was clogged, the toilet didn't flush well And our room door didnt lock. We were offred a didn't room initially but when the Ac still wasn't fixed despite notifing the front desk they still didn't change our room. The housekeeping was notified of the other issues and still didnt get fixed or resolved. Also there was never ever any entertainment or music at the pool areas. And another thing, if you didnt give a good tip to the bar tender, mainly at the main bar at the pool, they treated you poorly and pretend like you weren't there to asl for drinks. It was quite boring if i may say. The food was very poor quality, it needed lots of flavor and thier protein always was over cooked, thier food always made us sick. The bathrooms on the facility always smelled bad and thier toilets also didn't flush very well.

This was by far my worst vacation ever. If it wasnt for the amazing and professional staff i would have given this hotel zero stars. The first room i had was terrible, lights not working toilet clogged as well as the air conditioner not working etc. I did however travel with my wife and 2 year old daughter which made it even worse because she had a tough time sleeping due to the heat. My second room was no better. While walking into our second room we were greeted by the smell of mildew/mold. Our bathroom light would flicker constantly and would never stay on as well as the shower light did not work at all and our toilet was constantly clogging. We were unable to use the jacuzzi because it barely worked. Our bed in the room was so old we sunk right to the bottom making it impossible to sleep comfortably . The bed also had nasty stains on it as it seems it has been there for 20 years. The food wasn’t the greatest either, we have been home for two days and are still sick using the bathroom multiple times a day. I will say this again as it was the ONLY thing that we enjoyed during our stay was the employees. From the waiters to the cleaning staff everyone was very professional courteous and we enjoyed their company and hospitality.
