We had an amazing time. John and Sandra are such welcoming hosts! The Lantana is spotless, in a fabulous location and they have paid such great attention to detail. Breakfast was superb! All in all, we couldn’t fault it! We’ll definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful sun terrace!

From our first contact with the owners, to the location, the quality of the B&B, breakfast, accommodation, everything was outstanding.
The B&B is in a great location, close to the beach, the quayside, the shops, pavilion, everything is within easy reach to walk to. The owners Sandra and John were fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay, offering us drinks on arrival, organising a permit for parking, recommending places to eat and drink and offering us flexibility for check in and breakfast.
The B&B is decorated and furnished to a really high standard with small luxury touches in the room, i.e. lovely toiletries, high quality tea/coffee facilities, a fridge with complimentary water, a hair dryer, towels and beautiful bedding. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice including fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, toast, pain au chocolat, as well as a traditional full english! There is also a lovely terrace for guests to use which overlooks the quayside, a beautiful calm place to sit and eat breakfast or have a drink in the afternoon and watch the world go by!
We would definitely recommend this B&B.

Check in was easy and informal.
Although not seeing the other rooms within the property, we were delighted with our room (room 5) and felt this was the best they had. It offered views across the beach and bay just yards from the front door.
The room was spacious clean and offered a spectacular view. It was nicely decorated and had a small fridge for use.
Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, and served on the sun terrace. Blessed with good weather, it was good to be able to sit and watch the world go by.
I had a days fishing booked for the first day and was offered a packed breakfast. This was delivered to our room whilst out for an afternoon walk around the area, thank you, Sandra.
We felt completely rested and very welcomed and at home.
Would we return, yes, there was nothing to dislike or put you off this lovely property.

Our room was superb with glorious views of the harbour. It is clear from the attention to detail in the rooms that John and Sandra really care about their guests.
We ate breakfast (which were fantastic) on the lovely terrace one morning (when the weather was good).

Both my husband and I take infrequent dash breaks from our busy Company and love Weymouth. By pure lucky chance we came across the 'Lantana' run by very friendly couple John and Sandra who made us feel very welcome.
The rooms are super clean and have everything needed for the visit. Breakfast was superb, every day a selection of fresh chopped fruit and perfectly cooked full English breakfast with the best sausages I've tasted for a while. The location of the the Lantana is so convenient with delightful decking to the rear overlooking the quayside and all the bobbing yachts, and from the other side we could see the sea from our bedroom window. We cannot sing the Lantana's praises more. There is so much to do nearby and plenty of restaurants so perfect for us. Big thanks to Sandra and John for making our stay that much more enjoyable.

The proximity to the beach, the town centre, the pavilion, pubs and restaurants……all within walking distance. The Lantana have parking permits for display on the dashboard ….such a plus in a busy town where parking is at a premium.

Great stay at this property and the host were brilliant. Very nice room and facilities were excellent. Harbour at rear if property and beach at front. Search for parking (The Pavillion is close) but you can park for for free in zone F with a pass from the hotel. Would stay again and breakfast is very nice ( especially on the terrace 😁).
