Friendly and very committed staff spending all night trying to sort out everyone's problems. New hotel. Good and comfortable beds. Spacious shower.

Check-in problems (due to server fallout) that lasted hours. Toilet seat was broken. Toilet flush cover broke off and fell into the toilet. Problem with lift (i wasnt able to open the door once i was inside, nobody answered the emergency bell when i rang, luckily the lift allowed me to choose another floor to go to and there i was able to get out). Excess lint on towels making them shed everywhere - was completely covered in lint after showering. Only peppermint tea (no black tea) in room, but i'm sure if i'd asked for black tea, they would have brought it ... but I didnt because they had their hands full with manual check-ins.

The room is quite recent and modern, very comfy and a bit larger than on other Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was OK - but no pancake machine :( There is paid closed parking available.

Some staff seemed a bit oblivious, unaware of how to do things. We booked a room for 3, but the sofa bed was not prepared and it took them one hour and several calls, only to have someone dropping a missing towel and a blanket. The TV was also not working. Closest public transport for city center is at 10 min walk.

Breakfast is excellent with variety of foods. Staff are supportive and friendly.

Additional charges for car parking is a negative one
