Nice place for comfort and quiet. Hot water is a major issue. They shoud'nt offer a jetted tub if they don't have enough hot water to fill it. Also we were the only guests there for 2 days and the water issue remained the same.
The bathroon vanity is very small with no countertop to lay out the usual things people have with them and would like to have them within reach when getting ready for the day or even brushing teeth. Instead of extending our stay a couple of days longer we decided to find other accomodations.

This is the place to be when you wanna be outside of rapid but close enough to see it beautiful location friendly staff awesome room and having the best walleye fingers at the eatery next door will make you glad you went and sad when you have to go back to reality.

It was like coming home and not like a stuffy motel room. awesome area quite highly recommend staying here. When ever I get back to South Dakota I will never stay anywhere else thank you for delightful experience

Loved the room! Our room had a jacuzzi bathtub which we didn’t expect and air conditioning and heating was very nice!

This was a great stay. Close to everything you would want to visit. It was quiet and tranquil. Breakfast was great and the hospitality was “sweet”. Accommodations were exactly as advertised. We would stay there again!

The room was very pleasant and comfortable. HOWEVER offering breakfast that doesn’t start until 8 AM in my opinion is preposterous. We stopped here for a night on a long trip and could not wait around until 8. Might as well not offer it at all.

My wife and I have been staying here for almost 20 years now for both business and vacations. We have always found it to be clean, quiet and pleasant. It can not be beat compared to typical motels as it provides free breakfasts that are cooked rather than motel junk foods, you can go next door for dinner and drinks. It is easy to access downtown Rapid and all the typical tourist attractions in the Hills. And the owners are very pleasant and helpful.

Love this place, right off the road with good parking. Rooms are large and bathroom even had a jacuzzi tub.

This is a perfect haven right off Mt Rushmore Rd. Room is nicely decorated, spacious bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Breakfasts are hand crafted and served in the on-site restaurant. Staying here you avoid the downtown area and are actually closer to Mt Rushmore. ( Downtown only 10 minutes anyway. ) We ate at the restaurant on the patio, live music, just a beautiful little spot.

Building, carpet and decor is in definite need of an upgrade/update, and several dead bugs in the room. However, the owners are warm and welcoming. The breakfast was really good and ready for us with the time we picked, and table set up for us with beverages already set out. Overall a pleasant stay.
