Bathroom a little small but that’s a bit picky as it is also well decorated and extremely clean.

we absolutely loved this place! immaculate, well presented and has everything you need for a long or short stay! Nip was also very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this place! it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

very welcoming nip was there if we needed anything. there's plenty games for the kids avaliable if needed. we loved our stay and Will definitely be returning in the summer.

Being cosy, comfortable and well equipped, The Piglets was the ideal base for my short autumn break. The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful county, and for visiting the city of York, which is just a quick bus journey away (bus stop near the end of the drive). A shopping centre, supermarkets and restaurants are all nearby, as is access to the ring road, yet the accommodation is in a quiet, rural location, set back from the road. That said, it didn’t feel at all isolated for me, as a solo traveller. The hosts are very helpful and quick to answer any questions but not at all intrusive. Had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Our second stay at the wonderful Piglets, and it never disappoints. Beautiful property, warm and comfortable in an idyllic location. Nip and Ellie are wonderful hosts and make sure everything is perfect for your stay. We plan to return every year for the foreseeable! Thank you!

Brilliant location, within a few minutes drive from a very large shopping centre, park and ride and the beautiful city of York. It was very clean, quiet with the accommodation very well equipped.

We didn’t have breakfast so that question is not applicable. We thought the location was excellent because it was very peaceful and looked onto fields but was so accessible for York and the road network to get to Harrogate or the North Yorkshire Moors. Very close at hand were two big retail complex with places to shop for food ,also a cinema and an Italian restaurant but best of all a Park and Ride that took you directly to the Centre of York. What more could one ask for.

Literally nothing as the cottage was stylish, very warm with underfloor heating ,lots of hot water when you needed, well equipped kitchen with all the appliances you could need if you are self catering and comfortable beds and very easy parking.

The property was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The host was very welcoming and friendly, parking was easy and the location gives good access to York and surrounding areas. The welcome pack was also very good with lots of useful information.

The onyl thing I can think of is that the toilet roll holder in the bathroom could be better positioned!

Very secure, very relaxing and very peaceful. Tastefully decorated. Comfy beds - best few nights I've had in a long time!. A real home from home and a perfect base to explore York (Park and Ride a short car journey away). Nip (the owner) welcomed us when we arrived and also came to say goodbye on our last day, and that personal friendly touch was really a unique thing for us! Members of the owner's family live either side of the property, but for the entire time we were there it felt we had the entire area to ourselves. A really lovely few days break. If circumstances allow in the future will definitely book into The Piglets again. 10/10
