Dirty sheet. Found short hairs fallen on the sheet (mine is long). Spotted some marks on the pillow. And the door was not locked when I first came after check in. Did the room service forget to close it? Or someone just ran through the room? Not sure. Elevator was off, no access from basement.

I only liked the kindness of the staff as people, without professionalism! They are just sweet people with no idea how serve a client.

Dears, it is undeniably filthy and unacceptable to stay..! It was one of my poorest and unforgiven experience. Mainly, unclean rooms and untrained staff. The worst part, when I saw the cooking chief during morning breakfast, he looked like homeless person with filthy outfit ( swear to God). I think this enough said .. don’t go there its a trap!

I booked the Grand Tjokro for my mum for the duration of her time in Indonesia. As I wasn’t joining her until a week later, she was very well looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rina, the lovely receptionist. My mum is happy to have met such a wonderful person. The management should be proud of her and the rest of the team. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Strategic location near to 3 shopping malls. Also there is a supermarket just next to the hotel. We would highly recommend the Grand Tjokro to anyone thinking of visiting Jakarta. We will be back soon, hopefully next year! Alex
