The spacious room and balcony overlooking the beautiful surrounding mountains. Cable TV with Eurosport and even some English speaking movie stations.

This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. Hotel GRAND in Samokov is an excellent hotel. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. The food were amazing, delicious Bulgarian traditional cuisine. The service was exceptional as well:
Staff were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 9 am. They were hospitable, friendly, helpful and there for every need we had, they made us feel like a part of the family. My mum is disabled, wheelchair bound and very difficult transferring. Katia is great person, she showed empathy and provided my mum with choices of warm food in the room when she was being unable to get out. The location of the hotel is great- very Central in the town. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists and friends who want to go to Samokov. Thank you very much Hotel Grand’s team, I will definitely stay again when I am visiting in Samokov.

The Hotel provided everything we needed. The breakfast was good with a choice of different options
The room was ready to be refreshed it looked a little jaded and did smell of cigarette smoke. The bed was OK but again the mattress could do with replacing

I stayed at Hotel Grand in the beginning of January, 2023. The room at the hotel was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were fantastic: great attitude, helpful, and always available. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Samokov town. I will always stay at this location when travelling to or through this area.

Hotel Grand has an amazing location, next to Lidl and close to Borovets. The food was excellent !!!

The owner is a lovely man. He really looked after us and was very welcoming.
It is good value for moneym obviously, the facilities are old, but it is good value.

Breakfast was below standard and on the second occasion the scrambled eggs were inedible and we not given a drink that was part of the meal.
The room was cold for most of the day and the furniture and decor were past there use buy date, also the wallpaper was peeling off and the carpet was thread bare.The door frame in the bathroom had delaminated at the base and the door was hard to close. There was one section of curtains missing. No tea or coffee facilities were on offer but advised on site. We did not get the room we were offered on day of booking. If we could have stayed at another hotel we would have done so. Bed linen changed once in nine days and towels not changed in the same period. Breakfast was awful. We stopped having breakfast after the second day. The supermarket next door had better selection of food.

It was very clean and comfortable. The room was big and the balcony as well with a view to the pool.
It was supposed to have a heater, but it didn't work. Luckily we did not need it as it was warm.

Good central location with good parking and only a short walk to the bus station and shops.
The hotel has a lift to serve all 3 floors. My room had a good view of the mountains.

Friendly hotel, close to the town centre. Place was kept clean, the room was a good size with a balcony, nice shower room and a fridge. The bar and restaurant downstairs is actually really good and normal local prices. All the staff were really nice. About 10 minutes walk from the bus station with regular buses to sofia and borovets.
Only possible thing would be a bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch but that would have been an extra.
