The view and location were amazing

The view was incredible! Seriously super view! The apartment was very spacious and right by the beach so great location! It was above a restaurant but we never tried it. A super good bakery was right across the street.

I knew I needed a code for the lock box but despite several emails/ phone calls hours before our arrival, I received no answer. We worried about not being able to enter by the time we drove there. I have never had this problem with any rental before. By chance, someone (not the owner) was there putting the keys in the lockbox as we arrived so disaster was averted! Also, we all had to take COLD showers before the property got back to us about how the heater was on a timer system and how to switch it back on. There were no instructions written anywhere in the apartment with regard to checking out. There were also only a few pots, etc. in the kitchen. Most of the cabinets were completely bare. We decided then not to try to cook anything for our family of five.

I really loved it, it was massive especially for a family of 6. I will definitely book again. It was sad to leave the stunning scenery every day

There was only one recliner working and also the jacuzzi didn’t work

Not properly cleaned- red wine stain on living room tiles, cup with cigarette butts found on balcony, wet towels still in the drier on arrival (did not arrive earlier than the advised check in time). Towels left out on the beds were still damp, some had stains. Used shower gel bottle lying in the shower. Insufficient dishes, normal drinks glasses etc to accommodate 6 guests. Pots and pans with loose handles, no oven gloves. Plastic cutlery. Broken extractor fan. Fridge had left over/old food from previous guests. Living room only had sofa/couches to accommodate 5 people. A number of door don’t close properly, creaked and banged unless you locked them. Jets in the bath don’t seem to work. One set of keys had to be shared between 6 adults to access the apartment. Staff at the bistro were unaware they provided keys at check-in. Were told they didn’t have any apartment keys and we were mistaken. had to ask if a manager was about and if we could speak to them. Was told they wouldn’t know about keys either. Beds were creaky, bedding was nice to look at but not good quality. 2 of our family left after the first night as they had poor quality sleep and felt unable to stay for a second night. Ruined the trip away. From start to finish not a good experience.

Breakfast was beautiful and location was the best in portrush!

Easy to find, and the views from the picture windows are stunning.

No parking nearby, just pot luck. Poorly kitted out. It really needs to close for a couple of weeks, deep clean, new crockery and kitchen items, and a lick of paint. The crockery and cutlery is a hotchpotch of stuff, not matching and you would be hard pressed to do a nice dinner for six. Lots of cobwebs and no little extras like leaflets, local travel guides and games for rainy days. It was actually quite barren. Sofas were comfy but worn, and only one recliner worked. Ice maker broken, and whilst the huge picture windows give great views, there are no blinds for privacy. I don't want it to sound all bad, cos it wasn't. But for a penthouse and the charges, it is missing those little touches that bring you back. It really wouldn't take much of an investment to give this 5 stars all the time.

Amazing views.

Dirty smelly steep accessible stairs to apartment. Not good for those with mobility issues. kitchen area, utensils and cooking equipment grubby, looked like it needed a deep clean. one recliner not working and lights in upstairs wardrobe not working, reported to owner who were waiting on an electrician to come. no towels but staff brought some promptly and staff helpful.

after i left got an email saying i had not paid which was very upsetting considering id paid in full a month before arriving… staff leaving back keys to were very unhelpful had to ask 4 times who i was to give keys too and left ignored standing there

Amazing Apartment. Spacious tastefully decorated modern appliances however what you go there for is the view it'd unbelievable could sit and look at it all day. Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommended

The views where amazing. The apartment was lovely. The restaurant downstairs was also great and food and drinks where lovely.

It took ages for the main room to get warmed up which is probably to be expected with glass front and high ceiling....we had to keep hitting the boost button fir the heating to stay on and had tge wee blow heaters that where in the cupboard going to.

The property needs a little TLC cleaners could do better job. Apartment needs some things sorted like dirty curtains. Also you couldn’t lock the apartment door from the inside. For what you pay to rent things should be better.

The location outstanding and view amazing.

Couldn't get a shower in 1 of the apartment's due to the shower water leaking through the ceiling, saying that once we made the restaurant 55 degrees who deal with the apartment's aware of the issue they had a plumber out and the issue of the shower and the tap of the sink that fell off fixed straight away, luckily we had both apartment's the family that was staying in the apartment with the problem they were able to get a shower in our apartment. I have to say due to the issue with the problems of the broken sink tap and leaking shower we were given a free breakfast in the restaurant the next day free off charge due to the issue, and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding and lovely. I wouldn't let the issue we had stay at the apartment stop our family from staying again, absolutely home from home with outstanding view's and location in centre of Portrush.
