we got the worst room possible, no balcony, small kitchen without equipment not even a knife, dirty windows

The reception staff was good, polite and informative. Only issue was they didnt inform us before selling that a bottle of water is 25000cop, which is a little bit elevated, if that advised wouldnt have ordered 6 bottles. I spent 40 euros in 6 bottles of water. Pricey. Not even in Italy I was ever charged that amount in the best hotel or restaurant.

Room temperature was not too good for the outside weather. Was sweating at night. The room stwart knocked on my door at 10.30 am (when we came back from breakfast) asking if we wanted the cleaning service. When I answered that we did want it, her expression was of disappointing, which made me confused as thats what anyone staying in a hotel is actually paying for: room cleanliness on a daily basis. On addition she didnt replace the two coffee pods which we spent, neither she collected the old ones or cleaned the plate where the remaining of coffe from the pod was, instead she placed the sugars in top of the liquid and left them there. Also the shower gel container was empty since we arrived in the room. The shower was filthy, hairs from previous guests. The room floor was completely dirty, could tell from my feet absolutely black after walking few steps. Shortly said: revise your housekeeping staff... I work in hospitality, 5 stars hotel, and theres where my expectations come from.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Cartagena. It is possible to take advantage of the facilities of the Santa Clara hotel nearby - amazing! The staff was so welcoming and nice with us accommodating for everything (in particular German and Airis)!

paying that much money for one night you can tell that the old beds of Santa Clara get transferred to the “less expensive” rooms of Santa Clara bóvedas. which is where I stayed. it was old, filled with holes and it felt like stones. basically a very old couch. I stayed in a duplex. when I complained to the front desk he said bad bed oh the top floor? I was like how did you know? so they’ve must’ve had problems with that room before and haven’t fixed it since..

This is the 'little sister' of the Santa Clara hotel across the street. Pay a bit extra for the wonderful breakfast in a breathtaking surrounding. You can also use the pool of Santa Clara. Topservice! Personnel at the pool are really amazing. Rooms at Boveda are bigger and cost a lot less. The concierge of both hotels provide you with whatever you need, taxi, boat service,...

Location Is great, the possibility of accessing Santa Clara is priceless! Breakfast was outstanding and the pool amazing. Noise canceling Windows worked perfectly. We could not hear the street!

A few things were “outdated” light fixtures, nightstand seemed to be falling from the wall. But in general, everything was in good shape.
