I love the location for travel - easy to access. Full restaurant breakfast is included which is a bonus. It is next door to shopping and groceries which is very handy.
There is no elevator, in case you need one.

I liked the complimentary breakfast and the staff was super pleasant to deal with.
My room stunk really bad. Like BO.
They required a 200$ deposit which was unexpected. That information should be included when you make a reservation.

You booked us, and at first, there was no room available, but we got one they usually don't use.
The people were not happy that you booked us there.

Rooms were very very neglected. Not well cleaned or maintained. Paint was peeling of window sills and doors

Staff was friendly. The room was clean. I found the bed comfortable. Pillows were good. Came with a basic breakfast. Very adequate.
The hotel is older and in need of updating.

Loved the front desk staff, she was helpful and eager to help to rectify all the problems we encountered. The morning breakfast was great, especially since we were given coupons for a free generic breakfast that was filling and tasty. There was also a bar with pool tables and slots that I didn't have time to enjoy due to the tight schedule I was on.
Black mould on the bathroom tiles, grouting missing in bathtub surround, air conditioning not working, carpets smelled musty, owners not willing to assist us with any issues with compensation despite their knowledge of our unhappy situation and knowing that we have been moved rooms 3x for a 2 night stay... shame on the owners. The 2 room s we stayed in required total bathroom renovation down to the studs, the carpet and air conditioner s needed to be replaced in both rooms. If this is an indication of what to expect..... I will not ever go there again, the place is a hair away from being condemned or shut down by the hotel regulatory body.

The breakfast was amazing! Such a great deal. Toast, eggs, bacon and hash browns for FREE! Customer service was incredible. Our door wouldn’t open after breakfast and the owner came right away to fix it so we could leave.

It was a hot breakfast and was what I normally order. The room we booked was so economical I really appreciated they gave us a free hot breakfast as well.

Location, spacing in the restaurant for meals. Friendly helpful staff hard working and doing their best under the circumstances. Very quiet and showers with hot and cold water.
The day was very hot "heat wave" that was going on was unusually warm. The refridgerant in the air conditioners in the two rooms we tried seemed lacking. When the outside air went below 20C the machine began to blow cool air without the AC cool setting. That occurred about 2 AM in the morning. When the AC setting turned on it blew cool air then warm air and the ongong clicking in the unit was noticeable.

The stuff was very friendly, polite. Excellent service. Room vas nice and clean. Breakfast was very good! I would definitely stay at Lacombe Motor Inn again! The price is excellent too.

Stayed here while visiting someone camping nearby. Got an excellent rate and only needed to sleep here, not hang around the hotel. My room had been renovated and was very clean. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. The free breakfast was made to order, provided in a take out container (Covid restrictions in place), and was very good.
The bathroom hadn’t been renovated yet, had drywall patches unpainted and tiles coming off in the shower. Still totally functional though, and it was clean. The worst part was the train going by at 4:17am, which blew its horn a couple times and was very loud. I

The receptionist was nice with good customer service. However masks were not worn in the building by staff.
Bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well, room had renovations being done, patched up walls in bathroom no paint, tiles were peeling off walls, wifi was not working at all, called reception and was told it should work however it still didn’t. I would not stay here again. Overall disappointing and a 200$ deposit for a hotel where people spat in the hallways. Gross

Restaurant is located next to the lobby which is convenient, service is good and the food is good. Wi-Fi worked fine.
Had a bit of an issue checking in, they originally put us in the wrong room type but did not e us to the right one. Caused a bit of a problem with credit card charges but seems like they adjusted things and got it right.
