The breakfast was phenomenal, and all of the employees were very friendly and pleasant.

Our bathroom had mold in it and smelled really bad. On top of that, we were right above the pool, and had issues with sleeping due to screaming at the pool, and this was around 10pm, so definitely not early. It would have been helpful if the staff could have managed the noise from the customers in the pool better.

I paid for a premium room and it was a complete waste. The chairs in the room were stained. There was water damage on the walls coming from the ceiling. Some of outlets in the room did not work. The shower floor was dirty. The water did not drain properly during the shower. The beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. I had a digital key, but it did not function without 3 tries each time I went to my room. The electronic key never worked on the elevator. Some of the individuals in my party complained that the breakfast made them sick. I tried to eat the oatmeal but it was so watery and mushy that I couldn’t stomach it. It was clearly overcooked. There was chilled paint on the doors. This is one of the worst embassy suites I have been in. The lobby is clean and well kept. This is not what the rooms are like. Very deceptive. I don’t know why there are good reviews

The suite was spacious and clean and very attractive. Lots of thoughtful details including coffee selections and numerous charging ports. Bed was very big and extremely comfortable.

Entrance road needs resurfaced, lots of potholes. And it was fairly noisy due to a couple of bus loads of teens/students.

The amenities, the breakfast, especially the omelette bar, evening snacks,loyalty programs, location.

The location, the amenities especially the breakfast and on the house snacks in the evening. The breakfast was really good. The separate live counter for omelette is the star attraction. You can get a huge variety of omelettes from that counter, fresh, as many times you want.

We stayed in a suite for 2 days. After the first day there was no refill for the coffee, coffee creamer, coffee cups, sugar etc. so even though we wanted to have coffee , we couldn't on the 2nd day of our stay. That wasn't cool at all.

I had mentioned before chekcing in that this is a special surprise trip for my husband and I'd love to make him feel even more special if there was a note that could be put in the room before we checked in. That request wasn't fulfilled however, when Nicole reached out check about our stay I bought this up and she was lind enough to arrange it on our day1 when we returned back to the hotel after a long day of having fun around the city. She was kind enough to keep some goodies and a note by me printed and put on the table. That made our stay 10x times more special. So Special thanks and kudos to Amazing Nicole💕

There were 2 situation that made our stay not so fun:- 1. Our rooms thermostat never worked. The temperature wasn't going down and was at 77-78° the entire first day. That got fixed the night before we were checking out. Thanks to Nicole helping again on getting the engineering team fox this. 2. There was a sudden Fire alarm while my baby and husband were sleeping in the room and I was having breakfast downstairs. This literally ruined our morning experience as my daughter got super scared and my husband and I were veryVERY panicked and scared. Not the best thing to expect on your holiday. However, we went out and stayed in our car for about 45 mins to an hour and it all got sortrd by then.

The breakfast at hotel was great, good variety of choice, hot, cold, juice, coffee etc. Due to time, we didn't use the customized omelet, great service! Free drink at evening reception every day is a plus.

The bar is a great place to relax after a day's work. The location is good for the North Chicago, Riverwoods and Deerfield offices.

The place is getting old and worn out. Due for an overhaul. Breakfast could have more options than (not even fresh)egg, sausage, potato and bacon.

Keys didn't work after 3 tries. Someone came in the room and made the bed b4 I checked out. Family food was thrown out n room cleaned b4 checkout

The breakfast was good, and they had great coffee. The rooms were spacious, and nicely decorated. The staff at the lounge was very nice and friendly.

The staff was very rude, and didn’t care to help. I waited almost 2 hours to get into my room that I had already booked. The walls are thin so you’ll be able to hear everything from your neighbors. The elevators are very slow and always busy or full so 9/10 your taking the stairs.

Nice hotel, suite was very nice but could use some updating. For example, the caulking and tub floor in room 238 was old and moldy looking. The toilet, sink floor etc was just outdated. It was clean so that was a plus. The bed was very comfy. The staff could be friendlier. On check -out, front desk did not care to ask how our stay was or even thank us for staying. She just printed my bill, placed it on the counter, turned and started doing something else. I found that to he quite unprofessional. I had the same lady at check-in, she in error told me my payment didn't go through (although it did) in front of a lobby full of people. She then said, "oh we can handle this when you check- out." She never mentioned it or apologized for her error when we checked out the next morning.

Better customer service. Staff should be friendlier and say thank you, and ask how was your stay. Just normal customer service.
