Location
Everything is old and worn out. Plugs were so loose it was difficult to make a connection. The room was very small. The beds are old and creaky.

This was the best place I stayed in. The bed was as super comfy & it was quiet.

This is a nice little motel at the edge of the suburbs, away from busy roads. The things I find most important were all met, I felt safe, the room was clean, and it was quiet. Being able to park directly in front of my room made it very easy to bring my things in.
There were only two outlets for the room and they were both fully in use. The first outlet for the AC unit struggling in the window (was a hot day) and an extension cord that ran under the bed for the lights. The second outlet powered the fridge, microwave, and TV. There were no convenient places to plug in a hair dryer or phone charger. Ended up unplugging the lights to charge our phones overnight.

The staff were very accommodating, giving us ice whenever we asked for it, and extra towels. If we had a problem with the room, the staff were always willing to help out.
It had been advertised that there was a continental breakfast, which there wasn't any. Plus with no breakfast, there was not a coffee maker in the motel room, which meant that we had to purchase some instant coffee as we travelled with a kettle. The beds were not really what we were used to, so we did not find them really comfortable.

the room was full of mosquitoes!!, there was no working remote for TV (& staff could not find one), the A/C was inadequate, the wifi was weak, the towels were skimpy, the shower head worked but was broken, the sheets were uncomfortable cheap polyester.

There wasn't a breakfast so we were somewhat disappointed. Rooms were clean but motel is dated but comfortable. Ride by taxi 8 km was expensive and motel agreed suggesting different cab which was even higher than first cab
A modest continental breakfast would be nice. Operator was very courteous and advised coffee was available.

no one ever in the lobby to check me i had to wait alone for twenty min and had to call twice so i could get any service. The building looked very neglected. room itself was clean though. same experience checking out. open sign on the door but no one around and door locked. had to call so i could tell someone we were checking out. Not very good service.

The room was clean and smelt fresh
The parking area was not well cleared of ice/snow, even though there was a snow plow on the property.
There was no continental breakfast or coffee on offer.
At 8 am, when I went to check out, the reception was locked, and I could not get my $150 deposit back right away. Three days later, I am still waiting for the refund.
