Breakfast options ok with a clean new breakfast room

The room wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been. Chocolate bar wrappers were behind the Nightstand between the two beds. Bathroom wasn’t completely clean and tv/ cable I wasn’t set up, ready to use in the room

Breakfast was a few slices of stale bread

Front desk was very slow or at times not existent. Needed someone to change my room key as is stopped working. Had to wait an hour while calling the front desk number for someone to show up.

Beds were very comfy

We had to switch rooms as the toilet was covered in urine.

Front desk guy was decent, no one broke into the vehicles outside.

Smelled like bad body odour in the lobby. Bed had hair and bugs in it. This location may have bed bugs!, tv didn’t work. Poor lighting in the room, just a couple really old rough lamps that barely worked. Shower drain was plugged so it would take 10 minutes to drain after done showering. The air conditioning unit was way out of date and extremely loud.

Ask for main floor due to disability.Booked us on 2nd floor no elevator they had to clean a room on 1st floor while we waited. Beakfast in am was late and portly set up. This was our second stay in the month and we will not book again at this location price higher on second stay

It was convenient place to rest on a long trip, but by far not the most glamorous place i've ever spent the night. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Its a little bit dated and gloomy. A lot of road noise from the nearby highway. Dingy hallways could do with updating and freshening up too. Breakfast was a handful of stale items, a few pieces of fruit and some yogurts that dont appear to have been refrigerated (we had to throw away) between a whole hotel full of people.

The hotel certainly could do with some . upgrading. Room was clean but bedding, pillows, bedspread was old and worn! I realize i did not pay a lot for the room cleanliness important as well as upgrades.

The building was very outdated, found garbage in the fridge, the bedroom furniture had what looked like dried syrup all over them as well as broken, the lamp shades had yellow stuff on them, the heater had stuff running down the front of it. Will never book a room there again. The pictures on the website are not at all the same. Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking for my first night and was still charged for it which is very disappointing after seeing it the next night but I ended up getting a refund for the 2nd night and left the hotel but was charged by booking.com far more the 1st night then what the actual hotel was charging me for the 2nd night. Over all very disappointed.

It was dirty and not properly cleaned. It was not stocked with all the things it should have. The refrigerator didn’t work. The first room I was in was so dirty that I complained. I was moved to a different room and it was a little bit better but not much. Mirrors were not cleaned properly.

The showers were not very good.

The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our room.

When we checked in our rooms tv was broken and the room wasn't very clean and the bathroom fan cover was hanging down. The issue was rectified which was awesome and we got a new room but then we were outside in our vehicle and two police cars showed up and there was sketchy individuals around . Not sure if they rent to bc housing authority or not but I wouldn't stay here again. Also the second room we got wasn't stocked with towels and the coffee tray wasn't stocked.

The bed was very comfy. That's about it.

The chair in the room was *very* dirty. I didn't even want to sit in it without something covering it. The "breakfast" was practically non-existent. There was only yogurt & cereal.

Garbage not emptied. Dirt on floor. Only thing for breakfast was an apple and a banana and coffee.

The only reason the place has the rating it does is the staff, the location and the wifi. The things that really matter like comfort and cleanliness you will not find here. While the staff were friendly, they didn't ask how my stay was while I was checking out and given my experience I'm assuming they knew what state the rooms were in and wanted to avoid an uncomfortable conversation. While I was leaving I slipped on the snow outside while an employee was building a snowman instead of shovelling or salting. I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels in three provinces; even the one that haven't been my favourite I would consider returning to as long as they're clean. This hotel is on a short list, of now two properties, that I categorically refuse to stay at.

The room was filthy and given the layer of dust on multiple surfaces and around the edge of the room on the carpet, clearly hadn't been throughly cleaned in a long time. There was debris all over the floor, including what looked like either a birth control pill or an illicit drug in the bathroom and an empty snack wrapper behind the nightstand. The toilet had back lines running down part way into the bowl, the shower curtain and towels had staining on them and a piece of edging near the tub had fallen off revealing what appeared to be mould or mildew. The coffee maker was full of large crumbs and dust as was the surface it was sitting on. The curtain rod had broken off the curtains and was left haphazardly on the floor. The only thing that "appeared" to be clean was the sheets. All of the mirror and windows had thick smudges of I don't want to know what on them. Upon entering the room it smelled as if someone had heavily sprayed air freshener to cover up the musty smell which made me nauseous and gave me headache. The walls were extremely thin and we had the unfortunate experience of sharing a floor with some of the most inconsiderate people imaginable - while I recognize this isn't the fault of the hotel, they could have provided better sound barriers or at least a phone that wouldn't make me cringe to use it so I could have called to complain. They only provided one half roll of toilet paper and no Kleenex. The only place to hang your coats would have blocked your view to the TV, which was bolted down on the side of the long table where it not ideal for viewing from both sides of the bed. There were also only three pillows in the room, two on the bed and one extra above the area for coats and while this is becoming standard practice it shouldn't be for a bed meant for two people.

We were quite disappointed with the breakfast. The chairs were not set up but we had to remove them ourselves from the table top.

The bananas were past their best. They had some brown spots on the skins. The coffee was okay but could have been better. Not a very good selection of food.
