Construction. I was traveling with my elderly uncle for his chemo. I requested a room by the entrance and elevator. They had us at the end of the hall. Completely opposite of the main entrance. The front desk person. Told me to go to the second floor to get the luggage cart. It wasn't there then she told me go to the fourth floor.

Room was clean.

No hot water in shower. When asked to check they never did. Offered to move me - but first floor where construction occurring and smaller room. Said they would check again then and never did so I never had a hot shower. No offering of discount to make amends. Paid for mediocre stay. Did not have on website or Booking that: No pool or weight room due to construction. Breakfast basic - not enough if you did not arrive early.

The breakfast was poorly planned each day with limited selections. The same exact things most mornings. The cheese omelets got old after the second day. Try scrambled eggs or biscuits & gravy sometimes. The OJ was good at least. The ice machine worked this trip.

I know we are living in the “post Covid world” now but please give us an option for room service at the minimum of every other day. The lighting in the room was poor, need brighter bulbs. The tub and sink barely drained. I fixed the sink myself but the shower turned into a bath every morning. Maintenance is lacking! My profession is a facility manager and if my staff and team couldn’t maintain my facilities any better than this I would have to do some deep investigation to see if they were doing what is expected!

The workers made fun of me right from the start. Then they started speaking Samoan and started laughing at me. I understand samoan but I didn’t speak up because I didn’t want to get kicked out besides all the staff was Samoan. When they gave me my room key they gave me an angry stare which made me even more uneasy.

Breakfast was ok, some food was cold. No one at breakfast bar, short line.

At check in the staff hadn’t read our notes. Staff was unaware of our pet and request for a 1st floor room. Toilet seat was cracked in half. Security door was broken and would not allow entry with the key card. Wi-Fi was acting funny with fluctuating connections. Pool was out of commission, staff referred us to the Hilton property next door.

The staff was friendly and the room and bed was clean as well as comfortable! i decided to stay here because it had a jacuzzi and unfortunately it was not working when we arrived! so that was a huge disappointment! it would have been nice to know on the reservation because I would have stayed somewhere else.

i booked the hotel for my parents on here with all my info except for the name i booked it under. i was always with them when walking by and after 10mins walking through the entrance i went to the front desk for an extra key and they denied me saying they need the persons name who it was booked under. and i told them look at the card who its charged to and what email and whatever info i can provide and still denied me. so i walked back and knocked on the door back at the room. was the guy. all through they couldn't help me it wasn't all to bad. as a hotel it self. as i am adopted and use to stay here a lot with my moms side and for my moms business work stays with nana meetings.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. You walk into what you would call a living area with a kitchen to the left. Full fridge, microwave, stove top, sink. Living area has a small table, sofa bed, and tv.

After checking in, we walked to our room only to find it unprepared. It was not yet clean. This was around 6 pm in the evening... got put into another room.. and that room was not read as well.. after being put into the 3rd room.. it was ready but upon walking in... you can smell someone had smoked cigarettes in there previously. Walls were dirty... the room just seemed dated. I had to go down to the front desk myself to get fresh sheets for the sofa bed because there were none in the room. Pool seemed too gross and dirty to let our kids to swim in.. and the hottub was taped off with cation tape. Hello crimescene! Sadly the whole hotel needs a refresh and need to hire more staff. I felt sorry for the lady at the front desk. After checking us into multiple rooms, she seemed so flustered and embarrassed. Being 6 pm, this wasn't her first situation of the day. Im sure she was thrilled to get off work. The fire alarm throughout the whole hotel rang at 8 am in the morning, stovetop fire, someone smoking? No idea! But shady stuff..

The location is good and I did like that there was 2 bedrooms.They have a heated pool. I have stayed a this hotel in other cities and it was fine. The Anchorage location was very poorly managed. I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Room was not very clean; especially the fridge and freezer. Living room furniture very stained. The breakfast service was not good at all. The sign said breakfast was 7-10. At 9:30 there was not any food left, nor coffee. I asked a kitchen staff if she could bring out just some bread to make toast. She said they had none and was waiting for an order of food to come in. I requested the front desk to deliver a set of sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa bed. No one ever brought them, my adult daughter had to slept rolled up on a bedspread. There was also a drunk person sleeping on the lobby floor at 6am.
