I liked the location.

I didn't like being asked to smoke off-property.

Facility is showing its age badly.

No ac, dirty hallways and stairwells

It was a VERY brief stay, we arrived at midnight (after driving from Vancouver) and were out by 8 am to catch the ferry to Haida Gwaii. In the brief time, staff were great, and the facilities were great. I was VERY grateful that our request for a cot was accommodated, I wasn't holding my breath as I made the reservation quite late. And the size and comfort of it was much better than expected as well, we were very grateful for comfort after having travelled all day!

The only thing that I had a slight issue with was not enough parking spaces in the underground parking. We ended up parking on the street, which was fine, but it would have been nice to have secured parking. But important to note: we didn't arrive until midnight, so I understand why all the spaces available were taken.

The breakfast was nicely laid out, and there were plenty of options.

Staff was great, they helped us out when dealing with the ferry to get home. Super comfortable bed.

Employees were fantastic to talk to and super friendly. Bit of a walk to the "other" side of town but manageable.

If you're staying there 1 to 2 nights then you're fine however, the facilities in general needs an upgrade, the windows had poor insulation as there was condensation even when closed. The bathroom was basic but needs renos and the carpets need a change.

We arrived late off the ferry from Port Hardy. The Pacific Inn was ready for us with checking-in a breeze. When I asked about possible underground parking, the concierge directed me, adding only two spots were still available. Fortunately, I was able to use one, thus staying dry while unloading the car and entering the hotel, a benefit in rainy Prince Rupert. The room was clean and comfortable, meeting our expectations. Available dark and early at 6:30 am, breakfast was adequate: yogurt, dry cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, etc. We'd stay there again.

The room's coffee machine was broken. Due our early start, the issue could not resolved before we left. Fortunately, we did get coffee in the breakfast room.

Outdated Bathroom had no counter for amenities. Bed and pillows were old
