Location, quirkiness and old style of hotel, staff, breakfast, lovely courtyard. Big room and bed!
Room could have had more natural light.

Loved everything about this hotel except parking
We had to wait over a hr to get our vehicle the day we were coming home
Everything else was great
Parking and when it's super crowded they shut down the street so it's difficult to get out or for Uber to get to the hotel

Molto bella e centrale.
Faceva un po’ freddo, ma non ho avuto tempo di lamentarmi per via degli impegni

Location is perfect!!!
Walk out the door and turn left and a half block there’s Bourbon Street. Best room to get is a Superior King. Plenty of room!!!!

The bed was very comfortable. Close to bourbon and walking distance to pretty much everything. The amenities in the room were great. The water pressure and temperature were amazing. The staff were awesome. No complaints Everything was wonderful to me. I will say I had many places booked, and last-minute I chose this one. I was nervous about some of the reviews since they weren't the most positive. But I feel that just from what I experienced with the staff that if there was an actual problem, they would handle it.

Everything! We traveled from Texas to get married in New Orleans and the location was perfect. The staff was helpful when it came to finding them when lost, directing us to the marriage license office, and eateries.
Our room has a slight Smokey smell but wasn’t a huge deal.

Great location to Bourbon Street and provides a comfort of security at night
Breakfast needs some work.

Excellent location - quiet and scenic in the quarter. Very clean room - robe and slippers were a nice touch.
We went to Vin Wine Bar and their sign said they were open until 12 midnight on a Friday. At 11 PM, they informed us they were closed. I know it's a separate part of the stay, but it was frustrating.

The room was nice and parking was convenient. It’s one block off bourbon street so really nicely placed. The jazz bar at the back of the hotel was really enjoyable with different, and varied acts every night.
The check in at around 8.30 on a Saturday night was efficient, but not welcoming. We went for our free drink in the wine bar where again, the barman was certainly not welcoming. We were awoken early in the mornings (around 8.30) by housekeeping because we did not have a “do not disturb” sign for the door. Reception couldn’t find one for us. One day the room was not made up at all and we were told ‘staff shortages’. We went down for brunch on the Sunday but there were no guests there and a member of staff came out and said “do you want brunch?” He did not seem a happy person so we declined. The general feeling was of an unhappy workforce.

The location is good and the front staff are great
There was black mold in the room and we had to change rooms. There were only stairs to get up and I had to carry all our bags up and then down again to switch rooms. I was sick, hadn't been drinking, and waited several hours for the cleaning crew to clean our new room and they went to lunch instead of cleaning it first so we sat in the cold courtyard with me going to the public bathroom to puke several times. We offered to pay more just to get a room quicker but were told that wasn't an option. Poor showing for a quality establishment.

The room had a good vibe about it, chandeliers, etc..Bathroom was good with a hood shower. The location was excellent on Bourbon Road and a great pub on the facility. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There are no opening windows in the room. An ugly tent that hid the courtyard from our floor. It degraded the whole hotel. As though it was put up for one night five years ago and forgotten.
No hot tea and milk available in the room only coffee.

The property does not have there own parking, it’s across the stree on another hotel property. The hotel Mazarin barley has two parking spaces to drop of the luggage. Coffee sucks.

Friendly, helpful staff. We arrived early and they held our bags & got us into a room 4 hrs before checkin.
Pillows a bit uncomfortable.

It took over 45 min. To get my car with literally no one in the quarter and no one ahead of me.I had to get the desk clerk to walk across street to inquire where my car was.
The hotel itself was awesome as the staff.

Hotel was authentic and comfortable. Older property but very well taken care of. Hotel concierge was great and was helpful with recommendations.

The location of the hotel is excellent. But.... that's all....
It's an old building. There were unpleasant odors in the room.

Good location. Nice building.
This is not a 4-star hotel. It is poorly maintained. The first impression on entering the lobby is not “4-star.” It’s dated looking and in need of refreshing. So is the rest of the place. The security guard was dressed like a security guard in a dorm or a convenience store. I’m all for security people, but nice hotels have their security personnel more professionally dressed. I must emphasize that the hotel staff were all polite and professional. The problem is with maintenance. You get the impression that money must be tight. There were dead bugs on the windowsill. A towel bar was broken and had not been replaced. Of the 8 lightbulbs in the bathroom, 4 were burned out. Doesn’t Housekeeping notice these things? The room smelled moldy. A large percentage of the TV channels simply didn’t work, and the ones that did appeared to be low definition signals. We had stayed here several years ago, but the place seems to have declined since then.

This hotel is comfortable, quiet and centrally located(walking distance to Bourbon Street). The hotel bar , Bar Vin, offers a full bar with a great wine selection. This bar is the perfect place if you're looking to enjoy a few cocktails away from the noisy hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street.
This isn't a deal breaker by any means, but the hotel's ice machine wasn't working.

This historic hotel is in a sweet spot when it comes to staying in the French Quarter. The hotel is tucked back enough away from the crowds that you can choose when to engage with the French Quarter festivities. Our room was in a very quiet corridor with access to a private courtyard. The room was big and the shower pressure was excellent. There is a wine bar and courtyard downstairs connected to the hotel. The building is old but well-kept and the rooms were very clean. The staff is very helpful and will accommodate early check-in/check-out when possible, organize taxis to the airport and store luggage.
The breakfast options were quite limited and the noise level of the bar downstairs can be an issue depending on what side of the hotel you stay on.
