The only thing I liked about this hotel was that it was located close to everything

I did not like this staff. I did not like the room because it was not up-to-date but cable went out and they said that they were working on it so they couldn’t do anything about it. It was just a horrible experience.

Rooms fabulous, got upgraded through booking.com to "exceptional room" on 32nd floor. Views of the pier stunning! Hotel lovely, nice and close to get around everywhere. Bar area really nice. Staff very welcoming and let us split our bill as we were friends travelling together and wanted to keep things easy. Beds sooo comfy, bottled water left every morning which is such a nice touch and don't get that everywhere. Wish we'd had time to use the pool etc but so much to see and do in Chicago!

No coffee machine in room but you could get free coffee every morning in the lobby which was a nice touch.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The pillows were lumpy and old. The windows do not have blackout curtains and it is bright at sunrise. The front desk staff was rude.

The bed was not comfortable. The top edge of the mattress was exposed and very hard. Difficult to sit as a couple to watch tv propped up because of it. No table in a king suite for room service.

I have booked the hotel which includes breakfast at the cost of room. It is very clearly written 'Breakfast is included in the final price' in my booking confirmation. However, the hotel charged me $321.96 for the breakfast at the time of checkout. I informed the hotel in the beginning that my breakfast is inluded in the room price and they simply asked me to write the room number in the breakfast receipt and I didn't have to pay. I talked to the manager about this and gave her my booking confirmation, but she simply said that 'that was a mistake'. I had to pay $321.96 for nothing! Please be aware of this hotel!!! The staff was extremely friendly and the location was good.

There were dirty towels in my room and the barn door on the bathroom caused a lot of cool air to come in whenever I showered. Plus, the barn door gives little privacy. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable, so bring your own. The bed itself looked like it was coming apart and it didn't even have a fitted sheet. I booked a lake view room, but the curtain on the window blocked at least 1/3 of the window as it wouldn't move any more. The carpet was extremely dirty as my brand new socks were brown on the bottoms after only walking around the room. The heating system is very very loud and caused me to wake up multiple times in the night. The hallways are very dimly lit, so that could cause issues for some. The breakfast is extremely expensive, but there are cheaper options nearby. Quite honestly, I've had better experiences at Quality Inns. I'm extremely disappointed since this is supposed to be a high end hotel.

I love that the hotel was around a bunch of food and shopping malls. It was walking distance to some great areas. The navy pier was right by the hotel.

El personal fue muy amable y la habitación tenía una hermosa vista al lago.

La alfombra tenía muchos pelos, la piscina estaba cerrada, el estacionamiento del mismo hotel se paga y es el más caro del lugar, ni siquiera un descuento por estar hospedado, todas las máquinas de hielo cercanas estaban malas. En general carísimo para lo que realmente ofrece.

Die Unterkunft hat eine Top-Lage und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei allem. Das Gym ist super ausgestattet und die Zimmer waren ebenfalls gut.

Wir haben das Frühstück dazugebucht, was wir nicht mehr machen würden. Leider ist es kein (wie sonst üblich) Buffet und man bestellt von einer Karte mit Preisen, die sich gewaschen haben. Auch Tax und Tip müssen noch draufgerechnet werden. Es sind jedoch nur 50 Dollar pro Tag gedeckt, was niemals reicht. So mussten wir hier noch echt viel draufzahlen, was uns geärgert hatte. Man würde ausserhalb des Hotels viel mehr für sein Geld bekommen. Vorsicht auch bei der Buchung, obwohl alles im Vorhinein über Booking bezahlt war, wurden Sachen doppelt abgerechnet, was nur durch intensives Nachhaken geklärt werden konnte.

Very nice hotel, exactly as appears in the pictures. The gym was a great bonus, as was the free coffee at reception in the morning (there are no machines in the room). Checking in and out was so easy and pleasant. The view from our room was amazing.

Paying for WiFi is very unusal for a hotel of this standard. You effectively have to join the rewards programme to get free Wifi. Location is right on Lakeshore Drive, but be aware that it is not that close to a train station (which can be a little annoying when you're coming from the Airport). However, with Chicago that can often be the case and you can get over that for the views.

Our room was right across from the elevator and it was extremely noisy. Some of the guests on our floor were not very quiet or respectful. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The room was dusty, had smudgy surfaces, and didn’t feel very clean.

It was beautiful and had a great restaurant/bar area. The rooms were very large, comfortable, modern, and clean. It wasn’t noisy at all like a lot of hotels can be. Additionally, it was conveniently located to so many things! Just a short walk or Uber ride from anything you’d want to do. The staff was BEYOND friendly and helpful. I even lost my debit card the first night and they located it, gave it to security, and notated on my account that my card was found. Instead of just handing it over and trusting I was who I said I was, they requested an ID to verify. That seems so small but a lot of places won’t do that. I hate to admit it’s not the first time I’ve lost my debit card, but unfortunately I speak from experience. Really cannot recommend this place enough. FAR exceeded my expectations.

I honestly loved everything. If I HAVE to say something, my room didn’t have a refrigerator. My friends’ rooms did though so I’m not sure if mine was just removed or if I booked a room without one. Either way, I didn’t care that much.
