The room’s decor is barebone - the tiles are a nice touch - the furniture/bed are just fine - but could be more comfortable - firmer bed - more cushions/blankets.

Lovely rooms, close proximity to the beach/shops/restaurants. Coffee in the morning, wine o’clock and cookies before bed were also an added bonus.

Great location just outside the centre of Laguna Beach with a great walk through a park to a quiet cove or the town. Nice restaurants nearby. Room nicely furnished and comfortable. Pool area was pleasant with a fire pit for cooler evenings. The people who serviced our room were pleasant and efficient. Great underground convenient parking.

No bar or breakfast facilities. The floor of our room was dirty although the room itself was clean.

A/C in my room did not work at all. It felt like it was 80ºF in the room, hotter than outside. When I went down in middle of night to let front desk know, it was apparent this was a common problem they were aware of. It seems many of the A/C units at the hotel were in need of a freon charge. The front desk was very nice about switching me to a nicer room with a working A/C, but they next day they called and expected me to move again to another room that matched the original room type I had booked. I refused to pack up and move a second time, and bc the hotel was at capacity they did not hassle me. However, the outdated A/C unit kept me up for 4 nights, as it made a very loud clicking sound every hour or so for about 5 minutes at a time.

Laguna Beach House exceeded my expectations. It's even cuter than the pictures, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, it's quiet, great pool area, and our balcony had a peekaboo view of the ocean. I loved the location as it was walking distance to the heart of Laguna Beach (about 10 min walk) and beach (5 min). Sufficient parking to handle all of the guests and the spaces are large so you don't have to worry about hitting cars or posts.

I can't really think of anything I would change. Compared to other hotels in Laguna Beach at the time I booked, it was mid-range, but overall it was a little pricier than I like to pay for a hotel.

Amazing location with cute amenities like Wine hour + Cookies in the evening. The pool/spa area was super relaxing. It's also a walkable distance to the beach and depending where you are standing, you can see the ocean!

Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Since we were staying one night, we didn't fuss over it and turned on the fan.

The price was pretty steep and no view from window or balcony to sit on. Also disappointed with price of private taxi to airport- 300 dollars + tax 😬

I did like everything.

The room was nicely located near the pool. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the property. We were able to walk everywhere which was great!

I thought the hotel would be closer to the beach. The room was very expensive, especially with added costs for parking and the hospitality fee. I requested no down, but there was a down pillow in the room so I woke up with a migraine the first night. I was fine after getting rid of the down pillow. It would be a best policy to double check rooms for a special request like this.

I liked the surf decor and the surfing books in the room. The wine happy hour and cookies were nice. The location is within walking distance of the POM and the beach. I was glad for the beach chair availability.

More sugar, etc. for the in-room coffee.
