The great view and excellent coffee!

We chose a corner room for the view but it was a bit disappointing because the seal on the one window was broken so we couldn’t see very well through it.

Just used the Hotel/Motel for a stopover.

The room was large and comfortable. We liked the dinner and the breakfast at the hotel resturant. The breakfast given to hotel guests was good, so there is no need to have menu meal. The staff did their best to resolve difficulties that arose.

Keep out of room 100. The sound of the the pool pump was constant in the first room we got, room100. We were moved to another room and got a good nights sleep.

The air conditioner did not work properly. Loud when on but kept freezing and going off. Could not open windows. Room was like a tomb. Did not sleep.

The breakfast was limited to a coffee or tea and a choice of 2 crepes, toast or one gaufre. The waitress wasn’t happy that we showed up without making a reservation and was kind of irritate that we didn’t make the reservation before even though no one told us about it when we arrived. All other staff were friendly especially the waitress that served us when we arrived. We felt bad that we arrived in the last hour before the restaurant closes, she was very pleasant.

Everything was perfect. We were 2 adults, on senior and two teenagers. Everyone is very satisfied with our stay at 1212 hotel. The food at the restaurant is delicious (my husband was a professionnal cook). The rooms are very big, super clean, with modern furniture. There is a pool and a small fitness that we didn't use. Staff was very smiley and helpful.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Walls and ceiling are paper thin. Very noisy when groups arrive - e.g. bicycle tours from the Trans Canada Trail

The management should provide more information about the rules in the hotel, be more attentive to the guests. When we checked into the hotel, we were given coupons for breakfast for 2 days. We were not told that breakfast had to be reserved. In the morning at 9:30 we were told that breakfast was not ready, come back at 10:00. Came 30 minutes later and heard again that you had not reserved breakfast and please come at 11:00. We had plans for the morning and couldn't wait for breakfast all day. We had to go to the nearest establishment for a cup of coffee, spend an hour on it, since it was Sunday. This morning was ruined. Breakfast was booked for the second day. The menu for hotel guests with breakfast included is in French only. But if you choose something for an additional fee, you will get a menu in English. It's a pity that travelers who book a night with breakfast included are inferior to the locals who are regulars at this hotel's restaurant.
