The Main Street coach house was the perfect place for my stay in Vancouver. It had everything needed to feel like a home away from home with wonderful touches throughout the property including luxurious towels and bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and ample closet space. Shirley was such a wonderful hostess and met me upon arrival to explain how everything worked which was appreciated. She also went out of her way to introduce me to a business contact whose services were needed as part of my visit to Vancouver. The location is also fantastic with a 24 hour bakery around the corner and excellent dining and shopping options all along Main Street. I've stayed in various places in Vancouver and I would say the Main Street coach house is the best placed I've booked.

Nice modern apartment

Very inconvenient that you cannot leave at the house your luggage if your arrive early or leaving after checkout. Couples will have to pay an extra $50-$100 to leave their luggage in a random store insecurely behind the counter. They call them "lockers" in Vancouver, a joke. With a hotel you don't have this headache. The host also did not allow us to do late checkout, even when she confirmed there were no guests coming the same day, very inflexible. The cleaning fee the host charges is excessive, that's what it costs me to clean my entire house 3 times larger in Toronto.

Good location.clean place and good people.

The location was awesome, it was bright and very clean, and it was very well-equipped with complimentary coffee, tea, and some basic cooking ingredients (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). The hosts were very nice and informative, and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet given that it's close to a busy street.

More comfortable places to lounge would be nice. The couch was pretty small and didn't have anywhere to put your feet up, and besides that, it was just the bed or the kitchen table (the kitchen table chairs weren't very comfortable though).

This is a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and amenities, and it's very safe. The coach house is like a well appointed studio apartment which is very quiet.

The only thing I can think to suggest is adding a floor lamp near the couch so at night there is a softer light source available.

We had a great stay with Shirley and Al. They are great hosts and their property was amazing. The location was perfect for us as it was close to many restaurants and the bus to downtown. The location has a great local vibe being away from the city. We were able to use a nearby storage (600 mts away) to store our luggage as we had a late flight.

Shirley was very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and cozy. 10 minutes away from downtown Grocery and restaurants are steps away

Location is in a great, friendly neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to do, such as Bloedel Conservatory, Elizabeth Park, the Aquatic Center, interesting shops and several restaurants we wanted to try. They had it well stocked with most things you might need. Even though close to a busy commercial street, you can hardly hear anything outside. And there's a great farmer's market on Saturday very close by.

Lighting was a little harsh, could use dimmers in the living room and especially the bedroom ceiling lights
