Convenient location

We had two separate rooms. Both were outdated and needed a deep cleaning with some touch up paint. The room service and restaurant were not what you’d expect for a Westin.

I was charged a resort fee by booking.com then told by the Westin that was not included and was not their actual resort fee so they asked for me to pay again,

No lift to 1st floor, singer on terrace wasnt great

Our room heater was too high. Delay in getting it checked and corrected.

Strange people around the pool.

Architecture was great, and the staff was excellent and very helpful.

The service cleaning in my room could’ve been better. And also the common areas like entrance, registration area or restaurants could’ve been more tidy.

Despite a recent room renovation, our 1 bedroom garden view suite felt dated, dirty, and was missing items like bathrobes and a safe. The phone in the bedroom was old and broken and the tv didn’t work properly. The carpet had dead leaves scattered around and had not been thoroughly vacuumed. The central air conditioning was broken and made loud noises every 5-10 minutes, keeping us up the entire night and triggering an allergy attack for me and my son. The hotel transferred us to a cleaner room the second night of our stay (golf course view) and it didn’t have the problems the first room did, but we had to downgrade our room size to standard in order to transfer. The pool area smelled like sewage from a malfunctioning fountain and the whole experience was subpar, felt gross, and quite frankly- not worth the drive to the desert. One positive is that they recently added two huge water slides that were a hit for our son and the other families we traveled with, but the pool was super crowded, music was blasting and it felt absolutely chaotic. Not worth it to us to ever come back to this property again.
