I have a chronic illness and mornings are rough for me. I wish breakfast was available later

Quick check-in mostly good staff.

Didn't tell us that they don't clean the room every day and supply new towels. The toilet was charged when we checked in and it took 4 calls before they fixed it.

Completely renovated, everything new. Great location. Des Plaines river bike path runs through the property.

Would have liked a better mattress.

When I first showed up to check in for my reservation they did not have my room and told me they were double booked. The clerk got mad at me said I guess I'll have to give you a bigger room. The room they gave had garbage already in the garbage cans there was toilet paper on the floor the balcony was covered in puke. When I went back to the same clerk she got at me again because I was complaining my room was dirty. She finally sent a cleaning guy to clean the room. So I then asked to talk to a manager which never got ahold of me. It took me two days of keep going to front desk to finally catch a manager. The manager tried to tell me the room was in there computer as a half cleaned room which I've never heard of. There was construction going on on the roof the whole time. The kitchen for room service was closed except for breakfast. Which on website did not mention construction going on or that the kitchen would be closed. They sent me a email the morning of the day I was due to check in about the kitchen an construction. Why they did tell me sooner is beyond me. Was a waste of money I could have went to a better hotel for what they charged.

The staff told me when checking in there would be complementary breakfast and coffee in the lobby. When we went to breakfast they charged for everything even the coffee!!
